She did NOT double and triple book my appointment, limit her time with me or hand me off to other staff. She asked all the right questions, read about my history, and reviewed prior imaging. She focused on me as "the whole patient," and she encouraged me more than once to ask for specific imaging from my reluctant physician. She helped me find my voice and gave me the confidence to advocate for myself. My insistence led to additional imaging and, finally, a diagnostic outcome I had been seeking for over three years. She also provided me with new exercises that helped to lessen the intensity of my chronic pain. In three months, she changed my life forever. I am so grateful! This place and its providers go above and beyond the standard of care. As patients, we deserve that, don't we?

Paul Keller, the owner, and all of the Sensei's, are extremely compassionate and dedicated to every student. They have a wonderfully thought out program for kids, that encourages the students to do their best, not only at the dojo, but also within their school, community and home life. Students can earn "Victory" patches to sew on their Gi(uniform), by completing school homework, reading, helping out at home, practicing karate outside of the dojo, doing good deeds in the community, sponsoring another student, etc. My daughter enjoys her karate training, and her dedication to it, has greatly improved her home, school, and other extracurricular activities. I've watched her become more focused, grounded, determined and a better listener. My 3 year old son, is so excited to start his karate training when he turns 4. He loves watching his sissy in class and being at the dojo. Not only do they offer karate classes for the whole family, they also offer Tai Chi, Women's Self Defense, Mixed Martial Arts and Mat Pilates classes. I take Pilates here twice a week from a phenomenal teacher, Alli Breen, a classically trained Pilates instructor. I cannot praise her enough and her dedication to the art of Pilates! We are truly blessed to have such a phenomenal school in our community!

Character building | Excellent for kids…read more We've been coming here for about 2 months now and recommend this place. Our 5 yr old daughter officially enrolled in their 5-12yr old class, once a week, and loves it! Backstory: We checked out this place a few weeks before our daughter turned 5. She is always very nervous and hesitant to try anything new, especially when it's something she does on her own without us in the picture. So, this was a big step for us. Within the first month of showing up, she went from watching off of the mat to sitting on the mat and eventually interacting with other kids with the help of one of the teacher's daughters. It was a long transition for our daughter, but everyone in the class are so welcoming and friendly. The teachers, including the owner, are so understanding. They never pressured her/us to join. They made the transition easier and more fun to the point where we signed up for 1 class a week and bought her a gi about 2 months later. In her words, "I like this place. I like jiu-jitsu." She is the youngest and smallest kid in this class. I'm excited to see how far she goes here! I like how Joe runs the class. They warm up, talk about the word of the month (i.e. respect), learn a new move, practice this new move with others, and practice the guard. For this specific class, they offer it 3 days a week: Tuesdays/Thursdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 9am. Parking is on the street or in the private lot. There is a sitting area for parents to watch.

The owner, some Lynn? who I have never met that I know of, refunded the 2.5 month all inclusive membership I had paid but didn't tell me. I found out today after driving an hour in rush hour traffic (with asthma - I was quite tired), when they told me the owner 'felt I was a danger'. They would not tell me why. So, if I can't go to class, this is kind of a 1 star place. I'm 5'6", 140lb, 54 years old, with asthmas, and the only martial art I know is tai chi which is 100% defensive. Why the owner thinks I am a danger I have no clue. The current teacher said that the owner also cited me for not following instructions... which is also mysterious since I did everything asked of me including following in with their rather low energy warm-up routines. So I'm afraid I can't recommend this establishment, even though Ryan and Brian are very excellent Krav Maga teachers.
