But what really stood out to me wasn't the prices, it was the character of the people working there. While I was checking out, an older woman came in trying to pawn some of her late husband's tools. She was a mother and newly widowed, and you could tell it wasn't an easy moment for her. At first, the staff didn't know the full situation, but once they understood what she was going through, they immediately stepped up in a way you just don't see often anymore. They offered to nearly double their original offer close to 100% more. From what I could tell, they absolutely paid more than the tools were worth, but they did it purely out of kindness and compassion. That kind of integrity and heart is rare these days. For what this review is worth, I truly hope they receive tenfold in blessings for the way they treated her.

I countered and he said he thought they could do that but needed to run it by a manager first. He texted back and forth and he stated he could give the agreed upon price. He went and got the cash. As he was about to pay me, he got a text on his phone. He stated he had made a mistake and offered me $100 less. I passed. Time wasted. I asked Levi what would be appropriate feedback based on our interaction and he said for me to do what I needed to do. Our interaction to that point was quite friendly. This changed rather quickly. Any business that crawfishes on a deal after coming to an agreement is not to be trusted. This is a very bad way of doing business. Thanks Levi, for encouraging me to leave this feedback.

I called the factory and they told me what the problem was, but since I wasn't the original owner the lifetime warranty was void. I had to buy the part for an additional $20. I got the part put on and took it to the range and the gun was still defective. Rut Dawg wasn't near interested in making it right and putting the $240 I paid towards a different gun, even when I informed them I was going to get a glock (which would have made them $300 more on top of the original $240 I paid.. Their "best offer" was $120. Avoid Rut Dawg Pawn at all cost.
