The captain (Ian) is very knowledgeable and able to tell us exactly what we can and can't keep and has been doing this kind of stuff pretty much his whole life. He found us some great spots, and went above and beyond during the trip. Highlight of the trip was when he helped us snag a large bull shark! They were great about telling us what we needed to do, but letting us actually do it. We actually hooked a second one, but it ended up snapping the line on that one. They filleted what we caught as soon as we got back to the pier and we were able to get it cooked right away at the restaurant at the pier, and took home the rest of what we weren't going to eat. This was my first experience deep sea fishing. This was, by far, the best fishing trip I could have asked for and set a VERY high bar for any future fishing trips to follow in the future.

They also had a cooler with water and Gatorade for passengers. We saw sea turtles, dolphins, red fish, and many native birds. They also had a fish tank and woukd let the children interact with them. The waters out there was so beautiful, just as beautiful as I remembered when I went for my first time in Jamaica. Kayaks were clean and newish - navigation thru the waters was easy. My 5 year old daughter had a blast. It was super cool to see the fish swimming under water, at one point they were jumping up and out the water creating beautiful splashes and a few even jumped into other people's boats! The weather was perfect, the night was clear and off in the distance there was lighting strikes which made the whole experience and scenery that much more amazing. 100% recommend doing this during the season where you can see the bioluminscents!
