All the puppy learned was how to sit which she had already mastered on her own at 5 weeks. After she returned home from training she continued to go to the bathroom in the house and she seemed timid and not herself. She also started chasing her tail which our vet says is most likely from her"training" where she was probably being left in a cage for long periods of time and neglected. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I am 21 years old and she bluntly told me that I am "too young and immature to adopt". She than proceeded to hang up on me than call me back from a different phone number to tell me that my application had been denied. This shelter also has a website that is apparently not up to date. The visiting hours are listed as 10am-3pm Wed-Fri and 12-4 Saturday. Upon arriving to the shelter I was told that I am only allowed to see the cats 12-4 Saturday and that is it. What if people have to work weekends? Donna's tone was very unprofessional as was her attitude towards me. When I called the shelter initially to ask if a cat was available the staff responded unprofessionally as well. Needless to say, I will rescue a cat from a more professional shelter and strongly advise all not to from this one.

I'm writing this review on the third year anniversary of my girl, Tessa's passing…read more I've been meaning to write a review all of this time but kept putting it off but never forgot how grateful I am to Dr. Carrie Moore. Dr. Carrie was amazing. Let me start with the fact I was nervous about Tessa's end and a stranger being there as Tessa was terrified of strangers. Dr. Carrie arrived timely, she was very soft-spoken, very soft in her presence, Tessa was able to leave without fear of the stranger that was helping her pass. I can't express how much easier this made Tessa's transition and made me that much more comfortable doing the dreaded. Dr. Carrie was very understanding too. She went on my time frame, she waited for me to say it was time, and even then, before she did the initial injection, she verified I was okay with her helping Tessa pass. Tessa's passing was painless and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Carrie, she truly made a bad situation much easier and truly respected both Tessa and me.

Dr.Keith Merritt saved a white thoroughbred I was share boarding. The horse had pulled a tendon…read moreand his owner decided to put him down. Dr. Keith told me he could save the horse with a new therapy called Shock Wave Therapy. I was attached to the horse so the owner released the horse to me and Dr. Keith started the Shock Wave treatment. The amazing thing was that unlike any other therapy, the Shock waves stimulated healing and the tendon heals with vertical flexibility so the horse is like new. Other therapies created horizontal scar tissue bands that decrease flexibility. Long story short I am indebted to Dr. Keith forever. I had many years on trail after that with my Shadow and he was so happy when he healed and could run and play and do trails with no limp, no pain, and perfect strength in that tendon! This clinic could save so many horses if only people knew about it. I'm not in the horse world anymore, but anyone who has a sport horse or just a companion horse with any kind of injury should get them to this clinic for help. Very knowledgeable with the latest treatments and a desire to truly help horses! Can't beat that!

NEVER received a return call when messages were left. My husband had to drive over there to get someone to even talk to us when we needed paperwork to resolve our insurance claim. On the day my husband went to the office, I received three different excuses for the lack of response from the office manager. First she was on another call, second was she was at lunch, third time she was working from home. Not sure why working from home is an excuse to not return a call. Only after my husband went to the office did anything actually happen. Even then, my husband still had to follow-up. It was such a disappointing experience because they are good vets, but there are A LOT of excellent vets in the area that DON'T give clients the runaround & cause even more anxiety during an already scary situation like surgical colic.

I had the sad task of arranging euthanasia and a private cremation but he died on my bed with me. I contacted Pet Lawn and brought Opie there. I can pick up his ashes in two days. I'm afraid I don't remember the name of the two women I spoke with but they were so helpful and so compassionate and so sympathetic. It's just what I needed at such a sad time. I called to let them know I would arrive later in the afternoon and they stayed open for me. Our dog, Arya, passed away three days ago and it's been painful for us beyond measure. Her heart stopped while she was playing, so it was extremely unexpected. While we know our vet does a great job for end of life services, we also knew without hesitation that we wanted to take Arya here because of the amazing care and attention that they gave to our Lulu-Bean (she was an exotic animal and they didn't blink an eye or even consider turning her away). We brought Arya here and not only did Pet Lawn accommodate every request, but they gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye, since we didn't get to when she passed. And today, we received a condolences card honoring her. They treat your pet like the family that they are, and treat them with the utmost respect that they deserve. I 1000% recommended Pet Lawn four years ago, and I 2000% recommend them today. My only regret is that I won't be able to leave other 5-star reviews for future pets, but I hope Pet Lawn knows that they'll always receive 5-stars from us every time we tell someone about them.
