We ordered a child's meal for my aunt, who is currently going through cancer treatment and has not been eating very much. Desiree approached us and told us, in a rude and dismissive manner, that the child's meals were only for children 10 and under. We explained our situation and why we were trying to order a smaller meal for her, but Desiree simply reiterated the restaurant's policy and told us we would have to order a regular menu item. When we asked Desiree for her name, her response was again rude and dismissive. Rather than showing any understanding of the situation, she reiterated the policy and told us that she was writing a note for her manager about the interaction. Given the way the situation was handled, this felt less like an effort to address our concerns and more like an attempt to document the situation from her perspective before we had an opportunity to speak with management ourselves. We understand that restaurants have policies, and we were not asking for the policy to be changed. However, there are ways to communicate a policy with compassion and tact, especially when a customer explains that they are dealing with a serious health situation. We were simply trying to find an appropriate amount of food for someone going through cancer treatment. Desiree's approach felt rude, insulting, and completely lacking in compassion. The food itself was excellent, and the other staff members were helpful, but this interaction significantly impacted our experience. A little kindness, understanding, and professionalism would have made a big difference.

The service was quick - once we realized that we had to order at the counter!! The chicken bacon ranch pizza and the meat lovers type pizza were delicious. Personally, we wouldn't pay for the cheesy breadsticks again. They were more empty and devoid of cheese than expected. Typically we aren't fans of brick oven pizza. The giant crust bubbles and "burnt" crusts tend to steer us away from brick oven pizzerias. So it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy our experience and our food on our night out!!

I was NOT disappointed! Hubby and I went to the El Dorado Entertainment center, where this little gem resides. The place had a makeover since last I'd been here over 10 years ago. Nice amount of seating, even an area where you can sit sort of outside. * I took a pic. The bar area was full, so we selected a table. There is a 2-sided menu. We looked at it for future reference. When the waitress arrived, we only wanted tacos. 2 for hubby, 3 for me. The tacos had a fried shell, decent amount of lettuce and tomato sitting on top of the initial beef filling. Not over fried on the shell, which was nice. I enjoyed the crunch, then the veggies. The meat was not greasy, which was a plus for me. We plan to go again. I would enjoy trying out the pizza. Hubby was looking at maybe an onion burger on another day. Great food, friendly atmosphere. We will be back!
