Their English style IPA brought back fond memories of enjoying a pint in Oxford Eng. This is not a west coast IPA ao don't expect any citrus just hops and malt! The Knock Out Blonde is a wonderful Belguim Tripel that checks in at a hefty 8.9% ABV. Beware, this beer will sneak up on you. My 2nd Fav is Steve's Brown an English style brown ale that drinks as smooth as all heck. We also had the opportunity to sample their Dos Hermanos Mexican lager beer. This beer will be a hit and is perfect for a hot summer day. This is a rustic no frills brew pub that is serving up some fantastic beers. According to the owner, a great guy, food will be available soon. Pro tip: Be sure to check their hours as they do close early. Perfect for us day time drinkers.

It's clean, spacious, with working air conditioning, and beers that come out nice and chilly. I highly recommend stopping on inside if you're already there, especially if someone in your party is a big beer drinker. There was only one woman behind the bar pulling drinks at the time, which was fine as it was only a few of us in the same party that were there at the moment. I had a lovely time perusing the menu and selecting drinks for the beer flight. Other folks tried my choices and most weren't happy with them. Lol. They also offer a pretty refreshing Michelada, but it's not high on my priority to go out and get. Definitely try their Mexican lager when you get there.

When I met up with friends on my second visit, I tried the "Italian sandwich", which was exceptional. The lasagna on my first trip was surprisingly good as well. However, my wife ordered the burger, and it fell flat. It felt pretty standard-issue, likely coming straight off a Sysco truck, showing that the menu can be a little hit-or-miss. For the atmosphere, definitely grab a seat outside! That area is easily the best part of the venue, whereas the interior leans into a basic dive bar vibe that isn't quite my preference for dining. It is definitely a solid spot worth checking out, provided you order strategically and sit outside.

I came here with some family so we had a party of eight, we had plenty of room at a large table inside. There are indeed mules on site in case anyone was wondering. You may not get to see them depending on weather and their moods. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, we stayed inside to get away from the July in Texas heat. The food is good. Just some solid snacks to go with your wine samples. Get a pizza or some dips, skip the cheese boards. Also, skip the premixed espresso martini. The flights are a great way to try a lot of drinks. The brewery nearby also has beer flights which was an interesting experience since I picked a bunch of random ones. Maybe curate yours a bit better than I did.

Crispy and so juicy. My favorite sauces so far have been sweet chili, honey hot, and mango habanero (seasonal). The fries are even amazing. Each fry is seasoned so well and come out hot and crispy. No soggy fries over here. I also got the pulled pork sandwich and the meat was so tender, not dry at all, flavorful, and just a 10/10. I highly recommend coming here and you really can't go wrong with anything you order. The owner is super friendly too! And their location is perfect since the brewery has both indoor and outdoor seating, is dog friendly, have tv's if you want to watch sports, and of course order a beer.

I feel like this is due to order at the front, and waiting for the food to be brought to you. No follow-up, no checking back. If you do ask for a something, you can assume you're not getting it. We have came here a few times after being invited by friends, and the food is just poorly produce. Chicken fried steak had no flavor, Classic burger was nothing better than Burger King, but at triple the price. Got my son the chicken tender basket, and he wouldn't even eat it. He is 3. He literally only eats chicken tenders and quesadillas! They were tough, and poorly seasoned. If you're going to buy cheap quality meat, learn how to brine and tenderize. Such a great concept and so much potential ruined. If you do go, watch how many parents just have drinks from the bar, and no food while their kids run around and play. Over-price, under-whelming, and should only be considered a outdoor play place for kids with a bar.

I only stopped in for a drink, but the bartender was quick, efficient, and didn't give me that "I'm too busy to acknowledge you" look that some places love to serve before the actual drink. I ordered a double Hendrick's and tonic, and it was poured correctly: crisp, botanical, and strong enough that I knew I wasn't getting the "light‑handed lunchtime pour." No complaints there. What really stood out wasn't the drink, though -- it was the scene. Camp Briteside has this big outdoor turf area, and while I was there, it felt like a ghost of ten different activities happening at once. One corner had an impromptu soccer game, in another corner, there was beard contest taking place (don't ask me what the rules were -- I'm still trying to figure it out), and the rest of the space was filled with families, laughter, and people just hanging out like it was a neighborhood block party. It's definitely a spot built for groups -- birthday parties, team gatherings, family meetups, all of that. I've heard they host parties of 20 or more pretty regularly, and honestly, the space makes sense for it. It's casual, open, and easy to navigate. Now, would I come here on my own just for a drink? Probably not. It's a bit out of the way, and it's the kind of place that shines when there's an invite, an event, or a reason to be there. But if someone said, "Hey, we're meeting at Camp Briteside," I wouldn't hesitate to show up with a drink order ready. Overall, it's a solid hangout spot -- family‑friendly, group‑friendly, and perfect for those who like their social time with a side of organized chaos. #supportlocal
