They used full sized nails that you have to drive in with a hammer, not the small-headed ones that power nailers use. They used common sense when deciding when damaged sheathing had to be replaced--didn't leave rotton wood and didn't spend extra money replacing good wood. They staggered the asphalt shingles correctly instead of laying them in rows up the roof with only a 6 inch overlap. They were ready with drip edge when we asked for it on the job even though we hadn't planned on that beforehand. They brought in a good sized crew who all knew what they were doing, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up the site well too.
