The installer, Affordable Roofing Co. has refused any responsibility as warranty is no longer valid. We've had several issues where they've had to come back and fix a problem just few days after installing our new roof. I wasn't happy with the front of our roof at the time of installation he kept assuring me that my roof was good . Now we have all these issues upon inspection. I would not recommend this company. They will not stand behind there workship

I would like to highly recommend Affordable Roofing for your roofing needs…read more Mike Johnson did a superb job in presenting his proposal to re-roof our house. He included samples of possible GAF products along with warranty options. He also included a copy of the liability insurance certificate. The company he represents has their own in house installers and they did a excellent job installing and cleaning up around the house. The price Mike quoted was very competitive and reasonable. They used common sense when deciding when damaged sheathing had to be replaced--didn't leave rotton wood and didn't spend extra money replacing good wood. They staggered the asphalt shingles correctly instead of laying them in rows up the roof with only a 6 inch overlap. They were ready with drip edge when we asked for it on the job even though we hadn't planned on that beforehand. They brought in a good sized crew who all knew what they were doing, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up the site well too. I hope not to need another roof, but if I did I would call these guys back.

I was ordering custom metal top covers for stucco walls. The metal had to be cut to size and bent to conform to the top of the wall. A knowledgeable sales person answered on the first call. I sent a sketch by text message that was confirmed with a return sketch from their fabrication person that was attached to the order form. Fabrication people called me with questions to make sure that the order was right. It was ready two days after I placed it. Berry's quote in Abingdon was hundreds of dollars more. I kept emailing and calling and ended up calling my credit card company to put a hold on the payment to get any action. They contracted the job out and I got the work done. The guys were good and I was happy with the work, but it was a nightmare getting it done. I decided to try them again as I have a leak. I did get someone to come out and look at the roof for an estimate. I have never gotten the estimate. I emailed and called. I have emails saying they sent the estimate, they didn't have the estimate, they would send the estimate and still not estimate. I called yesterday and they said they would send the estimate. I didn't get it so I called back and they said they would have the guy call me back. He never did. I called today and again they were unclear as what to do and said he would call me right back. He was on the phone and would call me right away. Four hours later and still no call, no estimate. I guess they are not interested in working here. What is frustrating is I have leaks, they know I have leaks, they say they will call and never do. It is unprofessional and the office staff are not sympathetic to anyone needing to get a start on the work. They just blow you off. I am thinking it would be hard to get them to schedule a time to come out and I would probably have to put another hold on any deposit. I did give them a second chance to thinking they might have worked their issues out, but it seems not. The one person I have worked with there that was responsive was Kristen, but she is either out or not there anymore. It is like pulling teeth getting anything done with this company. This is my experience and I thought it would be helpful to others looking for a reputable company. I have called another company who has already scheduled a look at my roof and we talked numbers. All that without the nightmare of never getting a response.
