After having my car in the shop with Trident several months back I found my car back in the shop…read moreafter getting rear ended on the road. Working with the insurance provider I was warned going with a shop that was not one of their preferred vendors could leave me open to covering the costs of the damage, but I would not trust repairing my vehicle with anyone else but Trident. They were prompt to get my vehicle in quickly, amongst the many other clients they serve, and diagnose not only the visible damage to my vehicle but also the less obvious but equally critical parts. They also handle correspondence back and forth with insurance and are properly able to work with insurance to cover all the damage when the initial estimate wouldn't even cover half of it. Erin and her team are always quick to provide me updates on what is going on with the car now, tomorrow and how soon it can be back on the road. While its never fun having your car in the shop, you cannot find better service than with Erin and her team at Trident Collision!

I took it to Unique and the guy opened the hood took a look at the place where the bumper is connected to the rest of the car, went to the back of the shop came back with several pieces of hardware inserted them into the bumper. Viola fixed. I would have paid $75 to $100 for the fix since I am too old to be doing stuff like that. HE DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING SINCE IT WAS SUCH A EASY (FOR HIM) FIX. THANKS SO MUCH.

It was super busy at 5pm on this Tuesday night because of the great financing offers available until year end. I ended up using my appraisal from sell2nelson earlier in the day in order to speed up the process on my trade. And snagged myself a 2025 cx-5 in 3.5 hours with 0% interest for the life of the loan. Had it not been quite so busy, I'm sure it would have gone a bit quicker, but the test drive was very thorough too! It was too good to pass up. I do like the sales model that you just deal with 1 person. Colby was super nice and helpful. The Mazda test drive is also very fun and really lets you learn if you enjoy the vehicle in all aspects. I would definitely recommend Nelson and Mazda. The waiting area coffee machine is super fancy. I had a double cappuccino on a chilly night. You can also get glass bottled ibc root beer while you wait. I was sold on just that.

If you go in, look at all of the disclaimers on the front desk..... they will use anything to void the warranty. I had a new transmission put in, went bad within 15,000 miles. Called to speak to the owner and he hung up on me, how is that for Customer Service. Horrible company, horrible people, poor workmanship, will find any excuse to void warranty!! My response to "Lifetime Transmission" review feedback. My bad, it had 24k miles when the transmisaion blewup!! Yes, I had my truck regeared to 436/37 as requested. Their disclaimer say within 14 days, I had it done within 30-45 days. Its not easy to find a shop, have them schedule it in, and do the work. So according to them, the extra 30 days and 150-200 driving miles on 37 inch tires ruined their "LIFETIME TRANSMISSION"!! Seriously, what a joke. Mind you that I drove the truck 175,000 miles with 37 inch tires!! I did not have the receipt, and the shop that did the Gearing work is under new name/ownership, so it has a new invoicing system and cannot get me a receipt. HOWEVER, "LIFETIME TRANSMISSION" knows the people at the shop. So I asked them to call the shop and verbally confirm the regearing. Mind you its a shop that they have worked with before.... they said not good enough... WOW. SO I asked, well can you please look at the vehicle and have your mechanics confirm it is regeared....they said not good enough.....WOW. In retrospect, when I went back and looked at reviews from Google, Yelp, Carfax and others.... there are other people who have had similar issues. You have to find them in the fluff reviews from their staff- I am sure. But those reviews are there..... and based on my experience they are likely real!!! Final word, I do not recommend "LifeTime" Transmission!! Horrible company, horrible people, poor workmanship, and they will find any excuse to void your warranty!!
