I was told that the hotel was booked up due to the graduation. I decided to clean the shower myself. They also did not have any tissue in the bathroom. The manager Tina Warren was rude when I telling her about my stay. I asked her if this location was a franchise. Her exact words were, did you see the name on the building? I know, so far this is a rave review so why the 2 stars?? My only complaint, and this is kinda a big one since it ruined our night. We were in the room in the first floor right next to a fire room. Didn't seem like a big deal until there was some beeping alarm that kept going off all night starting around 2am. Not only was the staff very friendly and accommodating, but also went above and beyond Saturday morning (28JAN2023) by voluntarily opening up their breakfast bar 30 minutes early so that our students could eat before they had to check in at the Warrensburg High School for their competition. That meant a lot to me, personally, that they took care of their student guests to that extent. In addition, two students left forgotten items behind. One was promptly returned to me later that morning when it was discovered, and following that after we had left the region, another item was found with the promise that it would be sent back to the student. This is exactly what customer service and general human kindness and stewardship is all about! Thank you for our wonderful experience here. You all certainly made us feel at home while away. So, here are the three negatives I have found. 1. The location of the hotel is on the end of town. If you want to walk anywhere you need to be prepared to walk pretty far. 2. At 4:00, they gave the guests cookies. The breakfast, which you order and they give you is also nice. There's a menu in the wall and it's completely COVID safe. The rooms are spacious. Mine had 2 beds. The bathroom had Neutragena products. There was a closet with an iron and ironing board behind the mirror. And mostly the beds were extremely comfortable. We found 2 charging stations next to the bed. They literally thought of everything. Refrigerator, microwave and large tv. Very clean and thoughtful.Best part: I didn't have to leave before 5:00 am for the race. I would stay at this hotel again.
