Nice big room. Two good size beds. A king and a Full. Pet friendly with small fee. $15 per animal.

Super happy with this place. Nice clean room. Really roomy and comfortable. Parking directly outside room. Great rates. Nice heater/AC unit with remote control. Easy access to stores and fueling stations. Very impressed for a motor inn. The negative reviews must've been before a remodel or something. Easily the nicest cheap motel ever.

Thoughtfully chosen array of breakfast options. Bagels, waffles, cin buns & more treats. Two kinds of juice & half dozen flavors of yogurt.

This is the nicest small hotel I've stayed in ever. It's not fancy, but is super clean and has the nicest checkin person ever. There is a fridge & microwave as well as hair dryer & iron/ironing board. A great hot shower & the best towels. Thick, fluffy & absorbent. Clean clean clean! It is reasonably priced and super convenient to the interstate. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise with loads of options carefully packaged & organized in the mini fridge with cereal options, bananas & fresh coffee on the counter. Quiet night of rest & refreshed for another day of driving. Such a delight to find a clean, comfortable spot to stay where the management takes pride & care with their business.

No complaints. Clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Older property that is decently maintained, has big truck parking, and is affordable!

Not too bad if you don't mind the B*tch at the front desk and a hard bed. Reasonably clean, could use a renovation.

Five stars for pure bathroom brilliance…read more I recently stayed at this hotel, and let me tell you: it was an experience. First off, the place was spotless--like, "did a team of caffeinated squirrels scrub this place with toothbrushes?" clean. The beds were so comfortable I briefly considered faking my own identity and living there forever. And the front desk staff? Absolutely delightful. They smiled at me like they meant it, which in hospitality is the equivalent of spotting a unicorn. There's also a cute little diner next door where the food was solidly "yep, that's edible," in the best way possible. Good coffee, decent pancakes, and zero regrets. But nothing--NOTHING--prepared me for the showstopper of the entire stay: the glow-in-the-dark toilet seat. This wasn't just a toilet seat. This was a guiding light. A beacon of hope. A glowing green UFO landing pad that said, "Friend, fear not the night. I've got you." Do you know the joy of stumbling into a hotel bathroom at 2 a.m. and being gently guided by the soft, radioactive aura of a toilet seat that looks like it's powered by dreams and low-level gamma rays? You haven't lived until you've peed in the presence of something that appears both extraterrestrial and oddly comforting. Honestly, they could've skipped the WiFi, the breakfast, even the bed. Just give me that glowing throne and I'm happy. 10/10. Would return just to bask in the luminous glory of the greatest bathroom innovation of the century.

Sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for. Check in was easy and I was on the freeway side. It's noisy you but not terrible. The room is spacious and the bathroom good. There a microwave, fridge and lots of room. Water pressure and shower head are good....my pet peeve. Towels are a bit small and old but ok. Bed was comfy and the heater worked well. The upstairs I'm guessing is not used as it's dark. Temping to go explore if I hadn't driven 800 miles a day for the last week... Do not count on breakfast. The coffee was on but the only thing else are limited packaged danishes.... That's it. I will say DO go to The Cheese Store that's about a half mile down the road from here. The two cheeses I bought were fantastic and also very affordable!! See review for more.

Cannot say enough about Hotel Frederick and its charm as an I renovated, but updated, hotel! What…read moredoes that mean? As soon as you walk in the lobby of the Fredrick, you feel transferred back to and earlier, more classic but simple time. The decoration and old school/original design of the hotel really captured this clients' fascination. I am a sucker for classics! That said, the hotel DOES have all the amenities most other hotels have, including a restaurant, live music on the weekends and a coffee by day, alcohol bar by night! Located right no the Missouri River in Boonville, this hotel is a must stay for any traveler! I will definitely e back!!

Okay, so many things to say about this place. I totally enjoyed myself, but openly admit that this…read moreplace is not for everyone. If you want a hotel for just the sake of having somewhere to sleep, this might not be the place for you. It is very convenient to the Katy Trail and Main Street Boonville, but it's not a chain place, and it's a little more expensive. The place was built in 1905, and it must've been nice for a town this size then. Judging from the makeup of room 6, it looks like they combined two rooms to make the one and then added the bathrooms (rooms in older hotels were tiny by modern standards and often had shared bathrooms). I'm sure they did that to all the rooms. It must've been very pricy to renovate this place. There's little touches that give this place character. A mix of modern and antique which yes, if you're not in the right mindset, you might not like at all. Myself, I loved the old style wooden blinds, thought the bed was comfy, and enjoyed the very effective a/c in my room after a hot day. The main things to give people pause will be a slight mustiness (think old library), creaky wooden floors, small TVs, and inconsistent hot water. One night I just couldn't get it hot and the next, it was as hot as a modern house. Oh, and one bit of advice when picking the rooms. Think carefully about whether you want a shower or a bath, as it looks like the ones with the jacuzzi tubs do not have shower heads, so it's a bath or nothing. As for the staff, they were all pleasant enough, but they didn't give the kinda spiel about all the options that you get from a lot of places. What would probably be better (and this could be a Covid thing preventing it) would be a little pamphlet or plastic card detailing what is where, maybe a menu for the restaurant posted, just little things like that. I don't usually bother with hotel breakfasts, but detailing that would be a good thing to put on a pamphlet as well. You could even point out the little shops or restaurants around town there, which I'm sure would save the front desk some work as well. Regardless, if I come back this way, I will happily stay here again. You just don't see a lot of places like this anywhere.
