I found Bob Ward's by searching Yelp and decided to check it out. It was very busy and they had a great sale going on. They carry so many items for all sorts of outdoor activities -- clothing, hunting gear, backpacks, water bottles, hiking shoes, layers like jackets and leggings, and so much more. I was able to find everything we needed, which was a huge relief. I was also able to order a few additional things I'd forgotten online and pick them up in the store the next day! Very glad that this place exists and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you need gear.

It is clear that Victoria truly loves helping people find footwear that matches their goals. I discussed what I was looking for, and Victoria took that information and turned it into a shoe-finding spree! She brought out at least four pairs for me to try. She even brought out some shoes that she thought I might like based on what we talked about. My husband started talking to her, and wouldn't you know it, Victoria brought out some shoes for him, too. She never made us feel rushed or like she was trying to get us out the door. She even helped several other people while we were trying on our shoes, and all of them left with smiles on their faces. The Basecamp is so lucky to have Victoria as a stellar employee. We, as consumers, are even luckier to benefit from her extensive knowledge about footwear. We will definitely return to the Helena Basecamp for any future footwear needs. The world needs more Victorias! If you get a chance, go buy some footwear from Victoria at the Basecamp in Helena, Montana.

When I called to correct this, they said it will take 3-5 days to correct the order and 7-10 days to ship it to me. I was told by customer service, their website is set up to default to "ship to store" because as a company, they want the customers to come to the store... The whole reason to shop online is to avoid or an inability to visit a store and get your products shipped directly to you. To say that we found absolutely nothing worthy of 'outlet price' is a massive understatement. Nice people - for sure, selection of merchandise at full price - stupendous, availability of anything approaching a 'deal' was non-existent. If you are stopping for vittles or fuel, then it is worth a cursory look, but just don't get your hopes up (as we did) for you are almost sure to be disappointed
