For what looks like something made tucked into your back yard it not bad for what you pay for. 12…read morebucks to play 18 holes during the week and six dollars to play night golf is ridiculously cheap and it's not as rundown as you think it would be for that price. Its surrounded by a lot of bogs and ponds and no fairways speak of with some pretty sandy thick rough which makes it hard to get a good 2nd shot if you miss the green from the tee box (which are a little beat up as expected). Greens needed to be trimmed a little more making hard to sink any moderate to long puts. A couple hard bunkers located around the greens and the sixth hole having a hill crest, pond, a few large trees and a bunker making it a hard shot. Most holes are just around 100 yards with the shortest hole is 50 yards with the longest just over 160 yards (Apperently, but you can tell the starting point has creeped up over the years due to the tee box being chipped up a bit). You dont really need anything more than a wedge most holes. Still for 66 cents a hole during the day it's worth every penny and makes for an enjoyable afternoon when your having an itch to go play a round on vacation. Cool looking bar too. The cheap price and not too horrible grounds make this barely scrape 4 stars but that is made up for purely in value which is 5 stars. Every other review is right you get what you pay for still I would return.

When you make the customer the bad guy, we tell you to F off and never come back and never spend money with you and never refer you to anyone and you're just not smart enough to know that. (Please google the Dunning Kruger effect.) Thanks for your response and no thank you. We were very kind and we explained we were from California and didn't know, and we also apologized for not reading the menu, and we are just really un accustomed to having an owner give us attitude, When we got "oh please go look outside look at the menu," and one of the employees laughed at us, that's bullshit. So now I take the gloves off and give you back your nonsensical baloney. It doesn't matter that your seasonal and that you're this or you're that, there's no excuse to be assholes. I don't expect you to do anything but give me what I order. I don't expect a Restaurant to treat me with kindness I don't expect anything because deserving is way too subjective of a term. A simple apology would've been great and it would've gone a long way but stating irrelevant related topics to you being an asshole, proves my point. You're an asshole and now you know why. Lastly, the hotdog was horrible. It was one of those cheap $.10 ballpark frank filled with garbage disposal meat. If you're gonna nickel and dime your customers on the extras, at least put a hotdog underneath it that's worth eating. It was disgusting. Have a nice day :-)

The course doesn't really have a theme like Pirates Cove or Goony Golf does. They wanted it to appear as a professional course. Especially at night when the lights are on the blue water fountains through out the course. No need to worry about parking either. They have their own private lot that has plenty of spaces and only about a 2 mile drive from the Lake George Village. Highly recommended.

We were lodging for the week at the Sagamore Resort, and we had not played Adirondack golf in a…read morelong time. So, we decided to book Sagamore's golf course, which was about two miles away from the hotel. The Sagamore Golf course was originally designed by Donald Ross and restored in the past 20 years. When we arrived, the first tee, with its view of Lake George in the distance, was spectacular. The golf course design has fairways that follow the natural terrain, elevation changes, undulating greens, and greenside bunkers. The first hole is the best view on the entire golf course. The 435-yard par-four begins from a significantly elevated tree that provides the money shot view of Lake George in the distance. The hole drops down into a valley, and the approach is back up to a raised green. Walking can be tiring. The second hole is a 375-yard par-four, which they call at the club a fun hole. I call it a tricky hole with plenty of hazards to challenge you. The third is a challenging elevated par three about 217 yards with woods and a massive bunker to the right. After this hole, I was questioning the layout of this golf course. The next five holes have you wondering if you need more than fourteen clubs in your bag. In short, the fifth is a 380-yard par-four where one must be paying attention to the pond prior to the elevated green. The sixth is a par-five that plays only 495 yards from the tips, which we were not playing. Let me sum up my golf experience at the Sagamore Golf Course. The course has holes that have an illusion that makes the hole look more difficult than it is. In some holes, there is deception that makes a given hole look easier than it is. From the tee or on an approach shot, layered bunkering or diverse size hazards can make the landing area seem minute or nonexistent. Only after striking the ball and walking to the landing zone will you find your eyes were playing tricks on you, and you had all the space in the world. Visual deception and trickery can be partially avoided with the modern tools golfers can acquire. I unfortunately did not bring a range finder, I found this golf course noticeably deceptive, and not in the best shape, I also found it pricey for this track.
