The custard cone is to die for. This cone is superior to Martha's Dandee cream. We took our out of town guests here and they said the custard cone was the best they ever had. The custard cone is rich,creamy and delicious. read more

I like to consider myself a mini Connoisseur. I have played mini golf at more courses than I can count, and have played in nine different states. This all leads to my problem with Hillbilly Fun Park, it's just not as good as all the other courses in the area. Lake George has a very strong mini golf scene, this is by far the worst of the courses. It is not bad, and if it was the only course in the area I would rate it higher, but it's not. The only reason I can think to select it is it will not be a busy as the others. Anyway to give you information about the fun park, there are 2 18 hole course, one is New York themed, the other is Hillbilly themed. They also have a ice cream shop with a small seating area. The course are pretty well maintained, but the layout is pretty generic, not many memorable holes. Compared to the other courses in the area the theming is lacking. Everything was clean, they have bathrooms, but the parking lot could use some work. Overall a perfectly adequate course that is overshadowed by all the other mini golf options in the area. read more

It is definitely a FUN place. you can spend some time playing mini golf before or after you get some of there ice cream. The place is well kept always clean and neat. I wanted to compare their hot fudge sundae to another Ice cream place nearby. (previous review). for hard ice cream they both serve the same brand. I didn't have so I won't name or review. for less than $6 i ordered a small hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge. There Ice cream is good. The employees are very friendly. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. The Brownie sundae was good but big.

I was driving by and saw the sign. Had to see what a Hillbilly Fun Park was all about. It's about Icecream and mini golf. In whatever order works for you. Or you can have two of each, they have 2 golf courses and like 20 icecream flavors. It is a great family place. Birthday parties for big and little kids. Easy parking. Reasonable prices. I didn't see many hillbillys when I was there though. read more

This place is still an amazing way to spend an afternoon: cash only not a big g deal. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and even gave my two year old a golf ball because she loved it so much. We played the New York course it was extremely clean and well maintained. All staff wore masks and cleaned the putters with disinfectant when we were done read more

My wife and I are big Mini Golf fans and this is one of the nicer courses in the Lake George area. Really nice themes for each hole, it's well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Oh yea, and the ice cream was delicious! read more

Well it turns out that my son loves mini golf and that my daughter is pretty good at it! My dad and I took the kids here and I was expecting we would make it maybe to 9 holes. Maybe. But we had such a fun time, we didn't want to leave! The only reason we wanted to leave was so that we could enjoy some yummy ice cream after. I highly recommend this place! read more

I really wanted to love this place but the overwhelming smell of toxic fertilizers and pesticides completely ruined it for us. Yes, they have immaculate lawns and shrubbery, but at what cost? Unfortunately we will not be returning because of the fear of being exposed to the noxious smells again. They must have recently applied the chemicals, and perhaps this is regular maintenance- par for the course (pun intended I guess) which wouldn't surprise me. But we've been to many mini golf courses and never encountered this problem until this one. Otherwise this is a super cute place- again, REALLY wanted to love it and keep coming back, but won't :( read more

My (grown up) friend and I came here on the way back from an 8 hour road trip. I have been fiending to play mini golf for ages now and it seemed like a great break in the drive. There are two courses - a New York themed course and, of course, a Hillbilly themed one. We chose the latter and had to putt putt our way through rotating cows, pumpkin patches and kissing skunks. The course is cute but not too exciting - I think the other one had a water fall and a cave. It was a busy Sunday on a holiday weekend and the place was packed. We didn't have to wait too long between holes - I think the two courses spread people out, which is nice. I found out I am horrible at mini golf, but it was a fun time. read more

Hillbilly Fun has always been one of my favorite ice cream places but ever since it has been taken over new ownership it has really gone downhill. My boyfriend and I went today to grab ice cream for my family, which we are a family of nine so it's understandable for the team to ask questions, but the young lady who took our order was simply rude. We were not greeted, we were not thanked for our business, we weren't even told to have a good day after paying for nine sundaes! She smacked her lips the entire time she took our order and didn't smile once! Although my family and I love this establishment, we will not return. Horrible experience! read more

A fun place to play mini golf, eat food, and get some amazing Perry's Ice Cream. My personal favorite is the Vanilla soft serve...not quite sure how they get it so creamy and flavorful. Always fantastic service! This is close to our summer camp so we get ice cream here a lot. The Perry's ice cream is good. I, however, always get vanilla custard soft ice cream. Very, very good. This is a favorite among locals and semi-locals. The ice cream is good and the staff is friendly. The miniature golf section isn't the most up to date course and is a little dated, but there is a cute nostalgic charm to it. The courses are split in two, a hill billy section and a tour of New York section. The family always favors the New York section. read more
