He is an amazing dentist and does all he can to ensure that you receive the best care possible. If you need him after hours he contacts you quickly to help resolve your issue. I have been seeing Dr. Mark for over 10 years now. Even after moving from Hermitage to Franklin I'm still making the drive (along with the rest of the family) up to Hermitage! Keep in mind, I FREAKING HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST! It scares me to death on top of having people stick their hand and metal objects in my mouth. With that being said, Dr. Mark and his entire staff do everything they can to make me calm and comfortable. Any time I go in there having pain, I walk out every time without pain. Fantastic dentist & office! A few years ago Dr. Whitefield gave me an implant without sedation which I was really nervous about, but did a fantastic job! Have not had one bit of trouble with it & he & his staff have an excellent chair side manner! I have also had some cosmetic work done on my front teeth which turned out fantastic as well! I continue to drive a long distance to this office for cleanigs & check-ups as I trust them to do a good job. You can also tell that Dr. Mark loves what he does & the staff likes working with him. I went to 2 other dentists that gave me estimates in the thousands to fix my teeth, one wanted to pull one tooth and put a new tooth there, they wanted to do a deep cleaning that costs a lot of money and multiple visits. I went to Dr. Whitefield and he said I only needed one quadrant deep cleaned and the rest just regular. He said the tooth didn't look that bad and I still have it 3 years later. The cost of my visit that others said would be over a thousand was a bit over 200 dollars. Great practice. Wife & I have been going for several years and have some major oral procedures performed. We both played competitive sports earlier in life and injuries led to issues with our teeth. The entire staff at Whitefield have been great to work with and even though I really, really, REALLY, have what some might call a phobia regarding any dentist visit I've found my experience here to be pleasant if not exactly fun. Healed within three days back to work and cooking on a line the same day and, I do tough hot exhausting work. Pain can affect your overall energy level and at three hours of sleep and pain-free I was able to perform and work hard it was better than 12 hrs sleep and deep knee to the floor pain.
