We called Near Me Plumbing and they were quick to send a knowledgeable professional plumber (Quintin) to our home that same afternoon. Quintin assessed the problem and provided an initial solution, as well as a more comprehensive solution. He gave us price quotes for both solutions and we chose the comprehensive solution, which involved the installation of copper piping (see photo). Since it was very late in the day, we decided to schedule the work on a later date. Quintin sent us a formal job estimate later that evening. We approved the estimate, made the appointment, and Quintin returned to do the job efficiently and professionally. The entire experience was exceptional, surpassed ALL expectations, and I am very happy to have found a plumbing service company with such high standards.

I hired…read moreJavier last July to rebuild two basins in my backyard and to add two new float switches to my sump pumps so that when it rains, the basins would empty automatically as they had operated only manually. I had a home inspection last week, finding out that my sump pumps were not working properly. I immediately called Agusto. They have caused me nothing but grief these past two weeks. It's no wonder they're closing and moving to AZ. I, now have to take Javier to small claims court to recoup the repairs that Roto Rooter have made to ensure the basins, float switches and pumps work efficiently. It cost me $1200 for fix what Javier never did. The basins have to be dug bigger and deeper with buckets inside to protect the pumps from getting clogged. They had become clogged after Javier replaced the float switches for new last week. They were supposed to be replaced last July when I initially hired him! Here are just a couple of my emails that detail what I have been dealing with: Javier, I've been calling since yesterday, speaking with Heidi about my sump pumps that you rebuilt last July with new basins and new float switches. I had asked for the sump pumps to be automatic and they are not functioning this way, instead still operating as manual. Heidi said you'd be able to come to my house yesterday and would call when you were on the way. I called back at 1pm and she said you were on a job and it would be most likely tomorrow (Tuesday) that you'd be able to come look at the work you did. I called just now to see if I could get an ETA on your visit today and got Heidi's voice mail. I am worried because there is going to a lot of rain this coming weekend and my sump sumps are not going off automatically. Also, my house is under contract, it just went through an inspection and the inspector also tested the pumps, though working, but not automatically when the basins are full. My invoice of $1635 says that parts and labor are under warranty for one year. Also, the guys who worked on the pumps said that if I had any problem, you'd eb able to help me and take care of them. I'm just asking that you act on your word, and your company's warranty policy which states, "one year warranty parts and labor". Javier, It's Saturday, and I'm checking in again to see when you can come back out and look at my sump pumps please. We spoke Wednesday night after you called me assuring that everything was working when you said you tested the pumps and switches. They are not working! I realize you are moving to AZ, if you're unable to fix my problem, could you please tell me, and at least refund me a portion of the $1635 I paid to you? This way I am not wasting my time in trying to get you to fix these sumps properly. You at least owe me, even after learning that new switches had never been replaced. You did the right thing by coming out and installing the new switches I had paid for in July. You apologized and I said all was good, I only want my sump pumps to work properly and they still do not. So, now I have to call another plumber (who will be very expensive!) when the work you performed is STILL under a one year warranty! Please advise on whether you will fix this problem or not, or refund me a portion of the money I paid you of $1635. I trusted you, you promised this was fixed.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Negligent damage to my AC during basic checkup…read more They damaged a part on my newer AC while doing a simple checkup and all the freon leaked out over the next 2 weeks. Unbelievable, stay away! This company's mistake is costing me over 600$ and I have the part they damaged to prove they did it. Joe and his 'trainee' (didn't know that at the time) came out to do a checkup on my newer package unit. No one had ever worked on this AC as I bought it brand new and it always worked perfectly. I watched them while they were hooking up the hoses and one thing stood out, they had to tighten one hose 2 times more and more to get a reading, this didn't seem right, but I thought they were the experts. Everything checked out, I paid them and they left. THEN 2 weeks later, I have no cooling or heat. I call my trusted AC company out and they say the unit has no R-410A in it, it all leaked out, they are about to start looking for the leak and I tell them about this other tech. They immediately located the leak where Top Notch, Joe and his trainee, damaged the high pressure valve when hooking their test tool up, its so badly damaged its actually bent, this caused all the freon to leak out. My AC had no issues ever, and using this inexperienced negligent company caused me to have to pay for a major repair to my AC, over $600. I don't want to see this happen to anyone else, stay away from this AC company!

American Home Shield was called and after a long delay we had Top Notch Air Condition show up. Very friendly. Joe was person who was in charge and he had a assistant. I knew it was about 140° in attic, so I felt bad for then. After removing .our old unit in attic and the one outside. While working for some time, on 1 the hot unit up stairs into attic. After a couple hours they came and told us it wad the wrong unit. No heat. Just A/C and the box stated it wad for a gas unit. I have electric house, no gas. He was very frustrated and said id he removed that wrong one it would be weeks before he could come back. But offered to..i do something that might work fine. He wanted to put coils or heat strips in that unit. He said it was safe and would work fine. He needed approval from warranty company. I said if they say it's safe and would work well I guess we are ok..as we don't turn heat on often...son has asthma bothers him. He has gone to college so on chilly night a week or so ago we're thought were would get the chill off. It did nothing. No heat, air nothing. I called Joe at Top Notch, ..he remember this. He knew they installed wrong unit. And had meant to add hear coils in place. I was lead to believe ir was done. They had plenty if time to repair. I spoke with Anerican Sheild and they promised they would take care of it. I had another company come inspect unit, ..he said who put this in? Its for a gas unit. It should be replaced. I agree. I have heard nothing from either. When I call Top Notch I get no answer and equally difficult getting someone on phone at American Sheild. My house is on market..it will never pass inspection. I am very disappointed they did this to us. I want it repaired. I don't want to go to legal measures and cause problems with others lives and business. But what choice do I have. Steer clear. Be careful watch closely.
