The studio provides blocks, mats, blankets and more. It's in a great downtown trendy location and is pretty easy to get to. The owner who is also a teacher there (Caroline) is so accommodating and nice! You can tell that she truly loves what she does and it's so great to see someone pour their heart and soul into their business. I would recommend this place to anyone (experienced or new to Yoga) who is looking for a great studio!

The studio is on the second floor of this old brick building in the trendy part of downtown Haverhill, where parking is ample either on the street or in the back parking lot ($.50/hr during the weekday, free after 8pm and on weekends). There's a really cute lobby area where you can leave your stuff on the benches. There's also a small curtained-off changing area. This might be weird to say, but I was also impressed by how clean and tastefully decorated the bathrooms are. But of course, the most important room is the yoga room, in which the positive and relaxing energy is almost palpable. High ceilings, dark wooden exposed beams, mustard yellow walls, and tall windows that look out onto the Merrimack River. This room beats any dingy gym I have ever taken a yoga class in. There are a ton of classes to choose from throughout the week, and the business operations of this studio run as smooth as butter. Just reserve a spot for a class online and then show up. There are a bunch of different payment and class bundle options available too. The owner, Caroline Giles is so incredibly friendly and encouraging. I also love how there are different classes for all levels of fitness and experience. I just wish classes weren't so pricey, although I think the $10/class cost is pretty average for places around here. I got a LivingSocial deal for 30 classes for $30 and it was the best 3-month break from the gym I have ever taken.

This class was definitely hard as a beginner but I tried to remember that this is new to your body and to give myself some grace. It was a great class definitely will come back I signed up for 2 more classes of MEGA: Essentials. Which is their beginner class or for those who want to perfect their form. I do wish they had a 30 minute intro class that really went over the machines because it was hard to hear over the headset the instructors wear and I did find myself looking up and watching what others were doing. But still it was easy to keep up and understand after doing it once.

I cannot say enough good things about what this place did for me…read more I am by no means a yogi, or an athletic person for that matter. I've always been very intimidated by group classes. I worry about not keeping up or looking a mess. What Asa and his awesome staff have created here is a space free of all this. It should also be mentioned right away that the space is BEAUTIFUL! Its on the top floor of Phenix Hall, right where the old stage was. I came here because winter sucked, I was losing my marbles and also needed to lower my blood pressure. I started with their Beginner Basics series which is five classes over five weeks for $50. It introduces you to not just doing yoga and meditating as a group but also walks through poses carefully and thoughtfully with great cues to get you more connected with your body. Asa led that series and definitely had me committed to yoga as a practice by the second class. I started attending weekly basic flow classes with Tracy (who unfortunately just left.) That woman was the best. I got so much stronger over the few months I attended and got my blood pressure down to very good numbers. This was my therapy. It is an investment, but if you're living in Concord, you can likely afford it. I always borrowed a mat (they have some clean, quality communal ones) I paid $110 for a 10-class pass and that did me well for a while. I had been paying $27/month for the Y and $10/month for planet fitness and not getting anything out of that investment. My brief time at At Om absolutely changed my life. I'm very grateful for the unity I experienced with my classmates and instructors and the love I always left with. It was awesome. They also offer periodic events with live music, which seem really cool, but I never had the opportunity to attend. There's also workshops that help you work on particular aspects of your practice, like inversions or sanskrit. And some classes for folks with kids and special needs. Another thing I never made it to was their Sunday practice, where they filled the auditorium with people and even have a place for kids.

I just knew something inside me was asking for healing... and I chose to listen. What I found there was so much more than I ever expected. I found a space held with compassion. A place where judgment doesn't live. A place where women come exactly as they are--no masks, no pretending. A place where you can spread your wings freely... or fall apart completely... and still be met with love. Here, you can cry, laugh, scream, and release--all within the same hour--and instead of being misunderstood, you are seen. Truly seen. What lives within this community is something sacred. It's a remembering... of who we are beneath the pain, beneath the stories, beneath everything we've carried. And also a gentle awakening into who we are becoming. There are no words that feel big enough to express the depth of my gratitude. Only a quiet knowing in my heart that this space, these women, and this experience were meant to find me exactly when they did. And for that... I am endlessly thankful.

She is a one woman show and does her best to accommodate her clients. I think it is a testament to her talent that she is so sought after that her classes have waiting lists.

Kim went out of her way to NOT putting on a waiting list for the class. So bottom line here is she gets $650 for 10 private sessions and multiple classes, if you could actually get into a class! Yoga is part of their program and they have two locations in New Hampshire. She plans to send me an extensive report and web sites to help me cook and learn yoga. Once I get it all back I will update this review, but so far I am impressed with the knowledge and facility. They offer so many health programs and their facility was amazing. Dry saunas, massage rooms, Ayurveda treatments. Really impressive. The drive was a bit more than hour from Boston. Worth it!
