We originally hired another team early on, but they dropped the ball on booking our engagement pictures and were not reliable. We were looking for another videographer/ photographer team and came across Alisa and Oleg. I'm so grateful that I found them. I can not thank Alisa and Oleg enough for capturing our wedding day. They were so friendly and professional throughout the process. Pictures and videos exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married.

Wonderful!!! Words cannot express how blessed we feel to have worked with Alisa and Oleg. They did an amazing job with our engagement photos and we were absolutely blown away with our wedding photos and videos. They were so easy to work with and they were really patient with us. It was very helpful that they were wonderful enough to give us direction with posing and placements. And so creative!!!! Our wedding photos and usb came in the cuties wooden box and the contents brought us to tears (joyful tears). It was like reliving our big day all over again. We will definitely be choosing White Studio Media Project for all our future photography/videography needs.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I got married last October 2016. Oleg and Alissa were absolutely amazing and most importantly patient. We searched everywhere for an affordable videographer and photographer. When we came across white studio and met with Oleg and Alissa, they were very attentive to our needs. We also felt comfortable that we were making the right decision by choosing them. The day of our engagement shoot, they arrived on time and took several pictures. They also provided us with sneak peaks the day of our shoot. They came out beautiful. The only down fall, is that we should of picked more than location. Like any other wedding, it was a stressful day. However, they made sure to capture every beautiful and memorable moment of my husband and I. Since we had an traditional Asian wedding, the day was long. Not once did they seem irritated or worn-out. I myself was getting tired and hungry. If I didn't get tired, I strongly believe that Alissa and Oleg would of kept going with the pictures. Nevertheless, the wedding photos and videos came out amazing. They provided us with several videos and I felt that they capture the whole wedding from the very beginning to the end of the night. Thank you Alissa and Oleg!!! Jennifer and Wilson

Alisa and Oleg are an amazing couple to work with. Me and my husband got to meet up with both, but then Oleg got injured and couldnt make the wedding and I was anxious, but they found a backup and it was such a stress relief that they handled that. Alisa is amazing to work with. I thought taking so many pictures I would feel awkward, but she made me and my husband feel so comfortable and that relaxed and confident look shows in the pictures! My husband hates taking pictures and Alisa was also able to get the shots she needed quick so that he didn't complain lol! The pictures were amazing same for video! I'm so glad I found them to capture our special day

EXCELLENT!! Very happy with Alisa and Oleg as our wedding photographer and videographer!! They were extremely responsive, courteous, available, and prompt! Made the whole wedding planning process portion very easy for me as a stressed bride! I actually contacted Alisa a little over a year before my wedding. At first I was nervous because I didn't feel like my inquiries were met promptly but I think I was a little OCD, too (I just had gotten engaged!), and then I realized that they do a ton of weddings and events. She really did respond in a timely manner looking back! Alisa was great to speak with -- good phone etiquette and really knew how to make me feel comfortable. My fiance at the time (hubby now) and I met Alisa (photography) and Oleg (video) who are a husband and wife duo. We lived far from each other but they were willing to drive closer to us to meet which was very nice of them. They talked about their packages, went over wedding things, and we gave them our deposit (half of our total). In the 12+ months leading up to my big day, I probably contacted Alisa (she was my point person) a few dozen times! She was great every single time. I received a copy of my contract, invoice, and questionnaires for list of poses that I wanted. They also encourage you to save any favorite poses so they can recreate them for you (which I didn't do. I let their artistry direct me). Fast forward to day of, they arrived right before the expected time. They were familiar with the venue but also came earlier that day to scope it out more. We took getting ready pictures and video then pictures with the wedding party and family after. Oleg used his drone, which I would totally recommend!! It makes your video THAT much more amazing! We ended up adding another hour at the end of the night (so total was 11 hours of them with us!). I wanted another hour but they could not stay unfortunately. I understood it was a very long day already and I was about ready to drag it out some more for them! haha Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great product and great valuable memories! The one thing I would say is to ensure what elements you want in your pictures or video (ie: wish the guys played some bball instead of high fiving each other in the video lol or more posed pictures of us in my traditional gown or specific pictures with individual family members). Their prices are super competitive and hard to beat (trust me, I looked around everywhere). They returned our pictures and video in LESS than TWO months (45 sec instagram clip, 4 min highlight video, reception and ceremony video, and over 700 pictures)! Not many newlyweds can say that! They mail it to you in a wooden keepsake box with physical pictures and a USB drive. You can check out their Vimeo link for videos including mine. BTW, they are still very responsive even after my wedding day! ;p THANK YOU for being so awesome!!

The BEST! I am beyond satisfied with pictures and their professionalism. Alisa and Oleg will make your wedding pictures unforgettable! Cannot thank them enough for their work they did for our wedding at Scripps Forum in La Jolla, CA.

My fiance and I looked around for a wedding photographer/videographer, and we've searched for a lot! Im so glad we've went with Oleg and Alisa! Today was our engagement shoot, for normal people that dont model or not very used to this, its hard! But they made it seemed that we did a great job, and when I saw the pictures, they were really good, like it was edited already.. or alteast for me, i dont think it need any retouch! Allthe pictures that Alisa showed me so far, Iike it there was no bad picture. Although I havent seen any footage from the video, I am confident that it will turn out great. ive watched a lot of videos from other videographers, Oleg's work was my favorite from the very start. Cant wait for my wedding photos! I highly recommend them! My favorite vendors so far

Just some of the many amazing pictures Alisa took for us on our wedding day.

It's in an apartment building called The Solair on the second floor; we just parked in guest parking, waited in the lobby, and contacted him when we arrived. He came down to get us and walked us to his studio, which was spacious, clean, and really pretty. There were tons of props and setups available, but since we were just doing a Christmas card shoot, we didn't need much. The studio is also dog friendly, so we were able to bring our two pups for the photos, which was a huge plus. We booked the 25-minute session with two featured photos. Within 24 hours, we got all of our shots and were able to pick a few favorites for edits and prints. The price was very reasonable, and the quality of the photos was excellent. Highly recommend this studio if you want an easy, straightforward process and beautiful photos. Highly recommend!

I decided to find a proper photography studio that specialized in passports. There was no one else in the studio that day, and I just walked in. The photographer had me sit against the white backdrop and posed me. I asked whether I had to move my hair behind my shoulders or out of my face for a passport photo, and he laughed and said he didn't know. After he took 4 pictures, we sat down at the computer to look at them. I hated all of them. The colors were flat and unflattering, and my lips were slightly parted so he colored my teeth in as opposed to retaking the shot. When he asked which photo I liked, I told him "none of them, really" and suggested taking another. He laughed and said no. I paid $30 for awful photos, and they didn't seem to know anything about passport photo regulations. Really disappointed that I came here. If I were a passport photographer and I didn't have any other clients waiting, I would take as many photos I had to until the client was happy! It's a digital camera and the rest can just be deleted! I ended up going to a mailbox store and paying $17 for a much better photo. Maybe this studio is good for family photos or other sessions, but not passports.

We used our engagement photo shoot everywhere - I highly recommend doing both since you'll get comfortable with him for the actual wedding too. 2) for the wedding day: he was a real pro- I had couple shots I really wanted which he took care of those. At the same time, I just let him lead a lot of the photos and ideas, and he came with plenty and made it easy and seamless for me, my partner, our families, and wedding party! Overall, the photos are beautiful - I am impressed with how natural the photos are (their style is very true to the experience and not overly filtered), and how he captured all of our special moments from all different angles. I was especially impressed with the photos he got during ceremony (we only hired him and no additional photographer) but were happy with the amount of photos we got. Mindy has a great eye and pays special attention to those details that matter to brides. Her sunny and cheerful disposition is quite contagious. She is also a responsible vendor in terms of following up and confirming dates and reminders. She's flexible and is so accommodating toward the bride and groom. It saddens me when I hear about couples having to work around the photographer's demands or settling for apprentices because the master photographer is charging an exorbitant price. Tips on what to bring for engagement shoots: 1. A cooler full of ice, water bottles, and a straw so that lipstick/gloss stays on 2. Finger foods like kimbap that can easily be eaten while driving to the next location 3. Lipgloss, powder, blush, oil blotting paper, Q tips, and bobby pins to touch up 4. If going to the beach, bring 2 towels to wipe sand & water off legs & feet. Your clothes will get wet and covered in sand. Also wear flip flops that can get wet or just go barefoot

Jeremy, by far, was the WORST part of my wedding experience. He is lazy, manipulative, rude, so so slow, and makes excuses for every little thing. He will also charge you extra left and right and will not deliver when he says he will. We recently JUST got the final pictures and videos, now almost a year after the wedding I know what he will do once he sees this review. He will make excuses just like he did every step of the way. But honestly, if I can stop one more bride from having a aggravating experience, I will be happy. Fast forward to the wedding day. I had texted him two days prior to the wedding to let him know that we would like him in our hotel room at 1:30pm so that he can take pictures of us getting ready. It was now almost 2pm, he was nowhere to be found, and I had my husband call him. He tells us that he's been sitting in the lobby and that we should've called him earlier. WHY would I need to call him when I told him two days prior to be there at 1:30pm with our hotel room number. I was busy getting ready, and I knew that was going to happen which is why I gave him instructions beforehand. He was obviously just late and instead of letting us know that he might be late or even apologize, he just brushed it off. He didn't even get any picture of my husband and the groomsmen getting ready. After the wedding it was time to take pictures with family and friends. Obviously we relied on him on where to stand for then pictures. Well it turns out ALL of those pictures have a bright circle from the sun. Most of the circles are on our faces. When we brought it up during the editing phase, he told us that it couldn't be removed and that that's just how it is. AND YOU COULDN'T TELL US US THIS WHILE WE WERE TAKING THE PICTURES?! He also chose a place that had guests and workers in the background of our photos. We thought he was editing them out, but he tells us after the fact that they can't be removed. Why didn't we take the pictures at a different location or angle? Mind you the entire time we were asking for the edits he was being defensive and telling us he disclosed all of this to us....well he didn't. We also didn't get any pictures with our wedding singer (even though we specifically hired him for the ceremony and reception) despite our request. It took us about 12 weeks to get the unedited pictures from the wedding.....which was a long time to wait. He shared like 5 pictures as "teasers" but it took him the full 12 weeks to upload the pictures into a file we can look at. NOT EVEN EDITED. So why did it take him that long just to upload? There were 4000+ pictures and he made it sound like we were getting ALL of the pictures as a favor. Well let me tell you that no one needs 4000+ pictures. Most of them were us with weird faces and some weird pictures that no one needed. Just an organized ~500 pictures would've been fine, but no. He uses the 4000+ pictures as an excuse that it took so long..... uploading 500 or 4000+ unedited pictures into a folder for us to view does not take that long. He then told us to pick our favorites to go into the Album, and those pictures would be edited. Well I don't even know what his idea of editing is because the final pictures still had graffiti and bird poop in the background. He told us those can't be edited out. OKAY SO WHY DID WE TAKE THE PICTURES THERE?! Also, every time he gave us a delivery date, it was not met. We always had to follow up and he would tell us "oh I sent it yesterday" .....well you didn't because neither of us got it. He always had something or someone to blame. When I pointed out his terrible customer service, he decided that he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. He sends a message to my husband saying he won't communicate with me anymore. EXCUSE ME I paid for the service. What kind of a business refuses to talk to his clients that paid him?! Because I was pointing out how frustrating it was to work with an arrogant, lying person? He is ridiculous. He was literally the worst part of the happiest day of our lives. If you are considering him, please for the life of me, don't. You will regret the choice. He told us that the wait is worth it for the pictures. Trust me, they are not.
