Roberto is amazing!! I went here after winning a certificate from a charity event. I'm loyal to my hair stylist, so I was hesitant about trying someone new. Wow...am I happy I won that and found Roberto!! My hair hasn't looked this good in years. Not that I didn't like my previous stylist...I just think the products and Roberto's experience are on-point. The salon is lovely. Great location and bright sun open inside. The decor is wonderful. You get a very zen feeling when you're there. Everything is super clean and I enjoyed the small salon feel. I recently moved to Atlanta from St. Louis and had been in search of a new stylist. I read the reviews on Yelp and headed to White Salon and Spa. First the ambiance is calming. The salon is small but was busy on the Saturday i stopped in. I first requested a consultation (no fee) to talk about my color and cut, Roberto took his time to hear my concerns, asking a lot of questions about my hair care, products, styling habits etc. I left and looked forward to coming back and wasn't disappointed. I recently moved to Atlanta from New York City and was nervous about finding a new hairdresser. I am so happy that I tried White Salon and Spa! Not only was the haircut absolutely amazing (amongst the best I've ever had!) but Max was so kind and attentive throughout. Love Max! The salon is always clean and very professional. Blowouts last at least 5 days! Hair feels so fresh and clean. The color lasts long and stays fresh. Hair doesn't feel damaged after hair color. Love Balmain products. Max doesn't push you to buy any products from the salon. Prices are reasonable. read more

The salon as a whole is a very welcoming place, and everyone is super friendly. My boyfriend and I got appointments with Roberto. Hallelujah, Roberto knows how to cut men's hair! People are stopping me on the street telling me how great of a cut I got. Okay, maybe not. But that's how the haircut makes me feel. I have super thick hair, so it's not easy to cut. It takes someone with real skills to do it right. Roberto took his time and did an excellent job. I saw a "you get what you pay for" review on here and was expecting the prices to be exorbitant, but they were average for a salon haircut if not underpriced for the quality of service. I'd call and get on Roberto's schedule before it takes months to get an appointment. I got a haircut from Max the owner yesterday and it was the bomb! I moved from Manhattan last year and have been to pascal bensimon in st Regis and van Michael salon and this salon is the best of both! White salon and spa has the intimacy of a boutique salon as pascals but more affordable like van Michael. Max did a detailed consult with me to understand what I wanted and asked what I didn't like about my current haircut to not repeat it. Max is a true expert because he gave me the cut I wanted with limited direction! He understands Asian hair and gave me a low maintenance cut that I know will grow out nicely. An added bonus - max is hilarious! We had easy conversation during the cut full of laughs! The salon and decor is very intimate and you feel like the focus is on you and you're not just another number in line. so happy I found a salon in my new city! I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". White Salon has great customer service, a clean environment and talented stylists! Pike has done an amazing job styling and cutting my tricky thick hair! I've gotten more compliments from her blow outs and cuts than any other hair stylist I've ever had. On a whim, I walked into the salon while walking by. I was in dire need of color correction. The moment I walked in, the staff was attentive to my concern and introduced me to Max for a consultation. Max immediately calmed my concerns and he was confident that he could get my hair back to my preferred ash color. I came in 2 days later for my appointment and Max was ready for me. He went right to work and the outcome was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Max also was kind enough to style my hair in an updo as I mentioned I had a holiday party to attend that evening. I will finish by saying that I felt like a million dollars walking into the party that evening!!! My hair was gorgeous. Max is amazing....and not just for his professional ability. Contrary to what you may hear Brian is very much alive and well at White Salon in Buckhead. I really like the location and the comfortable feeling I get when I'm at White Salon. And then there's Brian.....He is still working his magic on clients who keep coming back for more. I've been going to Brian for over five years. It's not easy to keep blondes happy but Brian never fails me. I have always gotten lots of compliments on my color and I give all the credit to Brian. Brian also makes a great deal of effort to stay on top of the newest products and processes all of which I benefit from greatly. This Salon totally rocks!!!! Wanda came into my bar and invited me over for a blowout. I ended up with a much needed haircut and highlight and could NOT BE MORE PLEASED...Actually, ECSTATIC! I literally walked in the salon feeling below average but walked out a more confident and glowing woman , and feeling like I was up in the clouds. Max is the best. A lot of people go to New York or LA to get a great cut or color- I do the opposite. I live in New York but I come to Max in Atlanta because he's the best! Natural, subtle looking ombré and highlights are hard to do on a dark brunette and Max nails it. Max and his team also did my best friend's hair for her wedding, along with our whole bridal party, and everyone looked amazing. read more

Had an amazing haircut with Ailton today-- can't recommend him higher! I wanted to freshen up my look but keep my hair long, and he really listened to me. A lot of times I find stylists want to chop too much off, but Ailton managed to get my hair looking healthy and fresh while keeping it long :) I found him to be extremely attentive, very skilled (he helped me see the best way to do my layers to properly frame my face, which I really appreciated), and super super friendly. He brings some of his Brazilian flair to the haircut experiencing, keeping me laughing and making me look GREAT! The salon is very sleek, clean, with a really nice vibe. This quaint salon is in a great location in Buckhead with plenty of parking. I followed Brian Mayer here from another salon, and have been so happy with the quality of my hair after 3+ years of seeing him. Brian truly understands the chemistry of hair, and can always make the color I'm hoping for turn into reality. This salon was fabulous. Cute little white house in Buckhead. I had hair almost down to my butt and was ready for a BIG chop. I checked lots of different salons for reviews and people who would actually answer my call. They quickly answered my voicemail. Wanda did a beautiful job on my hair. Cut almost 10 inches off! I was a little nervous but Wanda walked me through the entire process and made sure I like what she was doing after every chop. I am very happy with the result. Went today for the first time to White Salon. Brian, my colorist, is working there now. He loves it and see why. Its small, cozy & comfortable. Like being in someone's home (which i'm sure it used to be!). Brian is the best when it comes to color. I've been going to him for YEARS! Max was FANTASTIC! He was great with color treatment on darker hair and revived a lot of the previous highlights I had. He did a beautiful job of styling with very little product so the blowout lasted longer than most. I took way too long to talk about the amazing experience I had at this salon!! I recently moved to Buckhead so this is the first place I had my hair cut and colored since moving. I have a pretty strict work schedule so sometimes it's hard to get an appointment places. But they were so accommodating. Roberto offered to take me at 6:30pm the day before Thanksgiving! He is a serious angel! He was so sweet and amazing at what he does! He talked me through what I wanted to do color wise and was so thorough in doing my balayage. I have long thick hair as well so it takes awhile to do my hair. He stayed until midnight to make sure everything was perfect with the color and the cut. I have NEVER loved my hair so much in my life and I have tried a lot of different colors and styles. Roberto is seriously amazing!!! I was shocked at the price as well it was so affordable. Since having my hair done I have had random strangers come up to me complimenting how much they love the color. Go see Roberto you will not regret it! I will be back in to see him soon. read more
