I do my classes and major gear close to home but when I'm diving Table Rock, I get air fills here and the occasional small gear item. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for more. read more

Went kayaking for the first time with my daughter. I'm so glad we chose this outfitters. We made a reservation the day before. The guys were very nice and informative and made me feel at ease (I was nervous). Super easy, just filled out a couple forms on the day of and they already had our kayaks loaded up for transportation. They gave certain points of reference so we would know where we were on the river. They had us call while we passed Lillies landing, so they knew it was time to head out to pick us up. Timing was perfect, as soon as we lifted our boats out of the water, Louis was backing up the loading trailer. There were couples still waiting (looked like a while) for their chosen outfitters to come pick them up. Very happy with this company. We will definitely go back to them read more

Came down for a short Dive with my Son and Father. October vis was not great and water was colder than I expected. I swore my son would bail from the cold. But White River Dive outfitted us warmly, prepared us for the dive with the knowledge of 4' vis, till the thermocline, then 20+, and temps will be upper 60s. Their knowledge removed all the unknowns and made the dives that much better, and the recommended equipment was perfect for the situation. Did two days of diving with them. I was really nervous as a newly certified diver but they made me feel so relaxed and welcome. Wade Gipson took me to some of the coolest spots at Table Rock; he was so knowledgeable and patient. The shop owners helped me pick out my first BCD and I felt they were more concerned about my comfort than anything else. So my friend got his class work and some pool work done in town at the company they work for.... So he came to White Rivers' home base to finish out his pool work and to finish his open water work and he has been beyond happy. So here's where I come in.. I tagged along on his trip to the home base and lake dives and the guys here are top notch awesome. Since I have my AOW I figured i'd waste my bottom time in the lake and not the pool and sit outside and watch. So we spent some time looking around the dive shop and they have a nice arrangement of gear to buy right on site. My friend ended up buying his first wet suit cause the lake was gonna be cold. They actually had one of the poseidon regulators that I have been looking at online and the online pictures just don't do the size of the unit justice. Like online makes it look like a 1980's camcorder... (Almost bought the damn thing, but I didn't want to hear the angry wife!) The shop was clean and well maintained, especially the bathroom! I like the bench spot where you can try on fins and look at masks.. Which is one thing I may end up buying soon b/c I have had to get glasses and they had a good selection...ok enough story telling. There is a pool and class rooms on site here and once again they are very friendly. Never got that feeling that you were a beginner diver or I have years more experience than you like some other dive shops have. Thumbs up guys and keep up the good work! read more

We took our daughter and three grandchildren to the lake for the first time. Andy was super informative the day I stopped by just to get information on the equipment that was available to rent for fun on the lake. We decided on a kid kayak, tandem kayak, lily pad, and two tubes. We also had two paddle boards that he said he would help us inflate (not an easy task). On the day of arrival, a triple digit day, Louis helped get all of our equipment down to the lake and unpacked and had one of his staff inflate our paddle boards. The company is a class act, very nice, accommodating, and willing to go the extra mile to make our experience wonderful. I will definitely use this company again the next time I'm in Branson! Kudos to Andy, Jay and Lewis for running a quality operation. From check-in through to the lake dive, they were professional, patient and never rushed us through anything, even catering to one in our group who wasn't a great swimmer. The diving instructor took the team to a very unsafe diving location next to a highly populated bluff jumping spot. There was a ton of boat traffic and the guide did not bother to put buoys in the water to mark the diving spot. On top of this, the instructor aggressively punished his dog for barking multiple times, which just is not okay. read more

At White River Dive Company you can obtain many different levels of diving certifications, from beginner to advance. You can obtain any of these certifications year around, because during the "colder" months of the year they have a heated pool with a dome, making it an "indoor" pool. Those teaching/training the classes are experts and very down to earth people. You can also purchase gear at their store, they can take you diving, and you can camp. The guys at White River Dive Company are amazing and I am so happy that they taught me to Scuba dive! they are so patient and take the time to answer any and ALL questions that you might have.
