I'd given up on pizza I could eat in Surrey until accidentally discovering this close to home in South Surrey gem. They are also in Crescent Beach. I always get what they call appetizer size which is four large square slices, I always have one left for the next day. Husband always gets a large. I developed allergies that made me unable to eat pizza for awhile then I discovered how our dough is made (much better than US but still not pure enough) is what caused nasty gluten reactions. I can eat thin crust when it's true Italian pizza made with imported dough and cheese (from Italy). The owner seems to always be there, great guy and remembers me even though I'm only there every 3 months or so , friendly staff, clean and pie is always ready in 20 minutes. Recently there has been a change, I believe it has changed ownership. I was there in late September 2025 and it wasn't the usual experience. The usual owner guy wasn't there. They were extremely busy. I had to call twice to get through and it took over 30 min for the pie. It was over cooked and lacked toppings. I checked the gggle review and plenty complaints about quality and end of an era type comments. For the most part they were answered by the proprietor with apologies. I decide to give them another chance and am glad I did. No issues. Perfect Greeks style pie exactly as it has been for years. See attached picture I assume there must have been a short term issue but it has been resolved as far as my experience.

Their prices looked in line with other places and so I decided to hit them up. Order was placed and delivered via UberEats. When the pizza arrived it was in the most delightful packaging I've seen in a while, with a 2L coke on the side at additional cost. First impressions of the pizza looked great, and the smell got me salivating. For starters.. The coke was lukewarm, unfortunately, almost like it was plucked off a shelf next to a fridge, rather than in it, so had to be chilled before drinking. That was too bad but I can't say for sure - all I know is it was warm. The pizza however... oh my, where to start? The smoky, crispy pepperoni, with a salty tang.. the chewy, briny, tender olives, and the gooey cheese.. this was certainly a delightful bite overall! However, one disappointment for me was that the mushrooms, hidden within, were barely noticeable, and when I did taste them, were like they were straight out of a can. I know the unmistakeable taste and texture of canned mushroom. I also understand food costs rising these days, but to have such a quality tasting pizza, with soft, crisp, fluffy dough and high quality flavours rounded out with subpar, canned sliced mushrooms.. the overall experience definitely takes a hit, especially when you pay extra for additional toppings. This felt like a bit.. in poor taste, pardon my pun, but I digress. Overall, I enjoyed my pizza enough to polish it off, over the next few days, and keep them on my list to reorder. Just note that if you order from Cheesey Pizza Corner, you may run into a 'cut corner' here and there, to top off an otherwise well-rounded and quality pizza bite, which may curb your experience. Had it not been for the canned mushrooms and the warm coke, I'd have given this establishment a 5-star easily. But.. for the cost-to-quality of what I got, it fell just shy of perfection for me; especially paying extra for canned, not fresh. Overall, I'd say you won't be disappointed, anywhere near fully, but one should manage their expectations and know what they're buying before ordering the extras.
