We were referred by a friend for our son's 100 day and 1 year photoshoot. So many people that I know has gotten their babies' photos taken here and there are clear reasons why. She is very thorough; she will send you detailed text messages to help you prepare for the photoshoot, letting you know what you need to bring, recommendations for the day of the shoot, etc. She answers questions via text pretty quickly and is very communicative. She is very punctual and professional whether over the phone or in person. There is a very good selection of clothes in their closet that you can borrow from for the photoshoot. For both of the photoshoots, she even helped us pick the outfits (there were so many cute ones it was hard to choose!) that were really cute on my son! The studio is very-well lit with natural lights coming in and there are several backgrounds and props that can be utilized, providing variety of pictures! Most importantly, my husband and I are not photo people and naturally, my son just freezes whenever someone pulls out a camera. Even with him being awkward, she was able to get great pictures of him smiling! I really do love the pictures that came out; there were so many to choose from (to send to loved ones since I didn't want to send 100s of pictures). She sends you a download link with all the photos so you can keep them for yourself! She also has lovely assistants who are very helpful during the photoshoot and when we are changing outfits for the baby. We got our pictures back in a timely manner and were able to ask for edits if needed (I don't think there were any that we really needed) We are having her take pictures of the 1st birthday party for our son as well- their package deal is an awesome deal for the quality of products you get! I had a hard time deciding where to go to get our baby's one year photographs done. After much thought, we decided to go with White Photo Studio and we were not disappointed. We had an excellent experience with Chloe since booking for the appointment. She was very accommodating and informative. I loved how she sent a reminder text of our appointment, and she even sent little helpful tips - like what to bring, how to prepare, etc so that we were well prepared on the day of. She had a wide range of clothes for the baby and even for the parents (hanbok) to wear, and it was really hard to choose as all the baby clothes were so cute! I decided to have studio portraits of my baby taken here after I saw their pictures for my sister's twins. The studio entrance is kinda hidden at the back of the building but one of the ladies kindly came out to find us when we called to say we didn't know how to get inside. The studio is very spacious and clean, and they have a lot of cute outfits for you to choose from. The two ladies at the studio were so nice and helpful. They were professional yet very friendly and my baby felt very comfortable with them. They knew what they were doing and how to do everything quickly to minimize the stress for baby. First of my wife's family is Korean and I am not but had no issues with taking instructions in Korean and English from them from the get go. Their studio is simply beautiful and family friendly . This place is seriously amazing! Recently, with the COVID pandemic, I wanted to take my daughter for a 1 year old photo session, but I was hesitant. Thankfully, the White Photo Studio staff were professional and had great infection prevention measures in place. They wore masks, sanitized hands, and asked parents to also observe the same precautions. They were super considerate and are only taking limited clients in order to enforce social distancing. I really appreciate their efforts to keep themselves and their clients safe! COVID aside, they did a phenomenal job on the photos for my daughter. I'm so glad we chose white photo studio for our son's 1 year old pictures. We looked at different studios that does Korean traditional pictures for first birthday and compared their portfolios, we felt like White has the most beautiful and artistic pictures. Very close to what you'd get if you go to Korea. Other studios are very simple and more like American style. I was a little bit worried reading reviews that said Chloe is impatient and rude, but that's not the case at all. When we arrived, our baby was asleep, Chloe told us she'd wait until my baby's awake even if it would take an hour or so... The studio is beautiful, bright and very clean. Chloe seems like a perfectionist, and I see why some people think she has attitudes. My mother in law didn't like her attitude at all, but when I look from her perspective, she just wanted to do a good job efficiently. We love white photo studio! We came here for our first son's 3 months and 1 year photo and for our family photo with the grandparents and the in-laws. Now we came back for our second son's photoshoot. You can choose from packages they have for baby, they come with different sizes frames and album for different packages. They were great with my toddler and baby. She made them laugh and giggle for the most adorable pictures. My toddler was having a hard time the second photoshoot but they were very patient. Unfortunately we didn't have the same experience as the others who gave positive reviews and I felt I needed to share. We came here when my daughter was around 7 months and wanted to take pictures of her and her older sister (3). Our youngest was a little fussy since it was a new environment and instead of being patient, the photographer kept blaming us and rushing the shoot. She kept saying things like wow she must not be a happy baby or wow if she cries even when she is sitting on you then what are we supposed to do. It felt like they were either rushing to get to another shoot or inexperienced, which probably isn't the case since so many had positive reviews. She also commented on my older daughter's hair. She said it's too long and we should do something about it (all with a disgusted, negative tone). At the end of it, she said we should come back and try again. I didn't want to because of the poor service I experienced so I asked for a refund. She said she needs to check with the owner. Literally the entire time we were there she was making snide remarks and being negative. I've been to other studios that are so patient and help calm the parents' nerves when their kids aren't cooperating. They understand that sometimes parents are even more anxious when these things happen. White photo studio never once tried to reassure us that it was ok and help the situation. After I left, I burst into tears and my husband agreed we should never come back. After MUCH back and forth, the owner didn't want to refund and the photographer said she would do a partial refund (even though the owner said no). She kept saying we should come back and try again but we didn't want to experience the same negative vibes. It could've been a one off but I definitely had the worst experience by far at a studio that deals with kids. I hope they treat families with more patience when these situations occur. read more

The ladies at this studio are pure genius super pros! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how my baby's dol photos turned out! My husband and I discussed possibly flying out to Seoul to do a Korean-style photo shoot, because, hello, dol photos are THAT important to us Koreans. We flew to Korea to do photoshoots for my first two children. BUT I thought I would give this place a try since it seemed a lot easier than flying out my family of five, aaaaand I am so pleased with this decision! First, let me explain something. Taking photos is half the job. The other half is getting a baby to stand/sit still and smile/giggle/laugh (through outfit changes, mind you, and in our case, a missed nap) while a stranger is holding a giant camera in front of her and asking her to look this way and that. Somehow, the two ladies here managed to get my very tired and stranger (-danger) -weary baby to shine for the camera! The entire photoshoot was less than two hours, which is a feat, considering we did several background and outfit changes plus family photos. (By comparison, my first two children did a half-day plus photoshoot, which was SO tiring for all involved.) The studio is bright and clean, and the studio's own outfits and accessories for the baby + hanboks for adults are some of the most BEAUTIFUL I have seen! I seriously wish I could buy their wardrobe! A few pro-tips: 1) Wear light, breathable clothes, because you WILL sweat while doing everything in your power to keep your baby happy. Plus, it is hot in the studio on hot days, even with the A/C going. 2) Bring a snack for your baby. I booked White studio for my baby's one year pictures. We came when she was about 10 months as the studio suggested, before she started walking. First impression of th studio was that it was very clean and ample. On our shirt drive to the studio, our baby decided to fall asleep. Instead of rushing us or asking us to come back, we were told to let her rest and wake up on her own so she would be happy for the pictures. Meanwhile, Jamie, the assistant, took me to a back room where they keep all the outfits for the kids. I fell in love with that room, but at the same time, I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of choices they had. Jamie picked a few outfits for my baby, that would go great with her skin and hair color. I agreed to them and helped by chosing the headpieces. Their shoes do run a little big so if you have a special pair for the photos, I recommend that you bring them. My baby is on the small side and at that time, she was still wearing 6-9 month old clothes. So as you may be able to see from the photos, the shoes were huge compared to her body size. Nonetheless, they still looked adorable. Chloe, the photographer, walked me through which backgrounds and how many to choose. We went with the teepee and piano backgrounds. Our package also included a family portrait. We took care of the outfits and package while the baby slept, and after we finished she was still sleeping! I really appreciate the patience they showed towards us. When my baby finally woke up, they got about 30 minutes of cooperation before she decided she'd had enough. They really tried hard to make her laugh and keep her content. I even took some time to nurse her to see if that would help, but she was just too fuzzy towards the end. Overall I'm happy with the photos. Hopefully next time she will smile more for the camera. Fantastic studio for baby photos. If you don't know what your baby should wear of if you don't have much time, this studio has a big variety of outfits to choose from. There are casual looks, formal suits and dresses, and the traditional korean hanbok. There are fancier traditonal dol setting options as well. Usually, the set is for casual, formal, and hanbok. The sets are soft and beautiful but not too vivid. (So dress accordingly) The sets are very well lit with natural lighting. I am super pleased with how the photos came out. The lighting is lovely and the photographer is great with capturing even the shortest of smiles.. They are courteous, prompt, and accommodating. Chloe emailed me with all the wonderful packages that they have and we scheduled a day that worked for us. The studio is big and so clean with wonderful backdrops and props. We were surprised how it looked on the inside because in the front you wouldn't know how nice it looks on the inside. They have a whole room of different outfits for the baby (from casual to formal) so you don't have to bring any outfits. We chose 2 themes and a family portrait. Normally it would take about 2 weeks to get the photos, but my son's birthday is on the 1st week of September so they rushed and got the photos done quicker. The photos came out so great! I would give 0 star if I could because the experience of our beloved baby's 1st birthday was tainted by such rude and unprofessional service. First of all, the photographer was pinpointing how my posture is weird and wanted "set poses" even though I was saying I'd prefer it to be natural. At White Photo Studio, there are SO many beautiful themes- all which the colors are thoughtfully put together. We were so blessed to work with White photo Studio and our daughter Aria's first birthday photo shoot! We are drove all the way from Montana to visit my parents. While we are in town we plan on doing a korean dol party, so of course we wanted to take some decent pictures for memories! They were able to find ways to get her to smile and capture such amazing photos even though our little one wasn't in the best of moods. Our daughter also became hungry in the middle of the photoshoot and they were so patient and gave her plenty of time to eat. Setting up an appointment by e-mail was easy and they are very responsive. I know I've shared my experience with the in studio photos. But i finally got the photos back from the DohL 1st Birthday. This is Chloes work outside the studio. And it is also very beautiful! I'm really into details. Especially with all the time and work put into the party. I like to capture every memory as possible. The lighting in the restaurant wasn't bright like these photos. It has been edited of course. But that was my main concern I brought to her attention during my booking for Chloe. That the Restaurant lighting isn't the best and I've seen from past parties thrown there. That it's pretty dark outcome. She assured me not to worry about it. It will be taken care of because her camera is also a professional camera. It was exactly a month turn around time to get the photos back and she mentioned to me when leaving the party. I still have to pick out 30 photos to make the album that was included in the package I purchased. I can't wait to get that! Also the package had the white 9 photo frame that is displayed on my daughters party was from White Photo. It had her photos I picked out from her 1st Birthday Photo Session. Enchanting. The studio is like stepping into a wonderland. I came here for a 100 Days photoshoot and my expectations were blown out of the water. It was everything I wanted and more. The themes are expertly decorated and the place is brightly lit up with natural sunlight. Your baby and family will glow like ethereal angels. The outfits are so beautiful too, I couldn't get over the bonnet they put on my child. It was so cute I literally started squealing with joy. The women are also pros, really good at getting the baby's attention for great photos and being funny for smiles. I would come back here for photos every week if I could. I so highly recommend them. Finally, their rates are reasonable and you get a lot of pictures. (Update- It seems they give you everything, all high resolution and retouched. I got about 260 pictures!!)
