What. In. The. World. Were. They. Thinking. When. They. Built. This?…read more I mean for real, what were they thinking? Did they miss the memo that they were building in a mall? Why not then connect it to the mall? Did that escape them? I mean I just cannot understand why they did what they did here. It is very odd. Then, to add insult to injury, walk into this place. Then take the slap to the face and turn around and walk out. Not only did they not connect to the mall, causing you to have to walk out of the mall, down the sidewalk and into this store, but they didn't even give your community a whole Kohl's. It is laughable. They really pulled the wool over your eyes here. I can't even say that this is a mini Kohl's. They literally kept everything single department inside this store, but only kept a quarter of that department in each section. Seriously limiting you and your choices. Save yourself the headache of coming here to this dying mall and go up the street to the plaza that has a TJ Maxx in it, at least that way you will be able to shop in a complete store with no hidden agenda of being part of a mall.

To call it an anchor store at this mall is overdoing it a bit there. It is more on the lines of a combination of a Rue 21 and a Kitchen Collection store. Which I think might actually exist in this small mall. The bright side here was that at least the employees had an upbeat attitude about working in such a small store.

We were in town unexpectedly for a funeral. My husband is a big guy and needed a suit very quickly. Josh has a wide range of sizes and was able to fit AND tailor a full suit in less than one day!! He also helped us out and tailored a shirt for my brother - that we didn't even buy there! I can't imagine that is their regular practice, but we were suffering a family loss, and he did us a huge favor out of pure kindness. Another beautiful benefit of supporting an independently owned store. We loved the suit so much that my husband wore it a few months later when he was a groomsman at a friend's wedding. We also bought him some great jeans and shirts and were blown away by the final price! It was so low! It felt great to support a small business, especially one with high quality, stylish clothing that is priced so reasonably. Now when we come to Indiana to visit, shopping for my husband is something we happily do!

The store manager is wonderful! They offer a variety of fashion accessories like earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and scarfs. They have lots of of clothes for juniors. My only complaint about the clothes is sometimes the Maurices brand fits a little awkward. BUT I would never stop shopping there!
