We found a beautiful townhome in Huntington Beach on Zillow and reached out to West Point Properties multiple times with no response. My husband eventually found the cell phone number of the person showing the property, Laura, and texted her several times. Again no response. It was only after calling the property manager, John, who sounded irritated with Laura's lack of follow up, that she finally replied, but only to me and not to my husband. When we arrived for the showing she was late. From across the courtyard the first words we heard were "are you waiting for me." There was no introduction or professionalism. She quickly unlocked the door and then stood outside the entire time while we toured. She never engaged with us, asked if we had questions, or showed any interest. It was very clear she did not want to be there. Afterwards I sent her a thank you email hoping to brighten her day. She never replied. I followed up a few days later and finally got a short "I'll find out tomorrow" response. After another email I was told someone else had been approved. The entire experience was off putting and disappointing. We will not be looking for a new place through this property management company again.

Everyone says good morning, checks in with one another, and we even exchange dog treats & snacks. Besides all the dogs protecting us from the occasional Amazon guys with their barks, it's really quiet and peaceful. I will be really sad when the time comes to move on from this place. Since taking over as president of the homeowner's association a few years ago, we have had a few different managers. In the last year or so we were blessed with Heather Eisfelder as our Community Association Manager. Once Heather became familiar with our community's concerns, she has been on it from day one. She is responsive to our needs and works in tandem with our Assistant Manager, Jane. Both Heather and Jane respond so promptly, even to last minute and after hours request. For a small community like ours, the value for our money has been worth it. I would not normally review a company like our management company...in fact I would never have thought they had a Yelp! page. What prompted this review was that during last night's meeting, Heather saved us about $50 / month on our street sweeping expenses. However, she went on to tell us that she had also identified nearly $300 in expenses that we pay per month and we do not use. For a small community of 75 homes, trying to keep dues low during this current economy, this is the kind of monthly savings that helps balance the budget and keep us out of the red. Heather also gave us other ideas on how to easily modify a rule to meet our communities updated needs. Thank you Heather and Jane! Your efforts don't go unnoticed.

This HOA continues to make errors. Now it's the accounting team. The bill has now been reversed, but it is stressful to have to vet everything the HOA does because you do not trust their work. I am getting more and more frustrated with the inaccuracies of the HOA (eg getting other people's violation notices) which is leading me to feel anxious because the Crummack employees do not like to be held accountable for their mistakes and at the same time continue to pound on homeowners to correct the violation notices that they've sent out. Even when I email the HOA, I frequently receive out of office notices or a notice like this: ------------------------------------------------- Thank you for contacting the Community Care Team. We are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries and are assisting homeowners in the order they are received. Our team will respond as soon as possible. If this is an emergency, please contact the main phone number and ask for Community Care. ---------------------------------------------- If anything, I am hoping our HOA would improve so that they can also be an asset our community, but their default is to be more defensive or hostile when you give them feedback.

They provide extremely poor service towards the end of my lease and during/after the move-out process. Towards the end of my lease, they did not complete several repairs. I ended up having to leave multiple broken items in the unit, even though I submitted repair requests MONTHS before my move-out date. They mishandled my security deposit refund and kept OVER $2,000!!!! I emailed for months after moving out to dispute the refund amount and they kept pushing me off. They continued to say they would follow-up with me shortly. However, I ended up sending about 5-10 email follow ups only to keep hearing that they would 'handle it shortly'. It never got resolved which shows how full of sh** they are, how they provide empty promises and how little they care about people after they are no longer benefitting from them. G.P.M. and the unit owner wrongfully charged me for several repairs without proper back-up documentation. In the middle of my 12 month lease, I submitted all of the proper paperwork to add an assistance animal to my lease. I continued to ask when my lease would be updated to include the animals, they never EVER got around to doing it during the remaining 6 months of my lease. Doing this is a FAILURE to provide reasonable accommodation to people with disabilities under the Federal Fair Housing Act. (I've reported them and an investigation is underway)
