scheduled a service appointment for 6/2/26@ 9am for a 2015 Ford Edge on line. Received confirmation for a appointment for a 2000 Ford Countour. Called - no phone #, no address, wrong car, all information incorrect or left off. That is the way this started. The only thing I ask for when I do a review is for the person in charge put themselves in my position. SO MR SERVICE MANAGER-- If you worked for me I would fire you immediately for poor job performance. 2.5 stars tells me you are only doing your job half the time. Tell me why when I brought my car in on the second it sat on your lot and never made it in to be serviced!! You agreed to service my car on 6/2/26 at 9am--isn't this a breach of contract? Tell me why I never received a phone call updating me on the situation? Tell me why my car sat on your lot on June 3 until i told you that I would just come and get it--all of the sudden it makes its way into the shop. Tell me MR SERVICE MANAGER how an oil change, tire rotation, engine filter replacement and rear brake job takes 4 days?????? Totally unacceptable. You have no idea what is going on in YOUR service department. Your Adviser for Ford service should have just told me the truth and said they were a day and a half behind--not a BS story about needing my car for an extra day because of it having to go on a diagnostic machine. Her lie is what created this fiasco, her lie also tells me that she knew they were not going to get my car serviced that day. Obviously, accountability is needed somewhere, and it should start with the person in charge. Tell your Ford adviser that the truth is always better-- no matter what!!!! Hire a service manager that leads by example, has higher standards and can offer solutions rather than contribute to the chaos. Just to add here- I am not talking out of my butt- for the last ten years of my employment -I was the GM of a business that did over 20 million dollars a year and had over 100 employees. I know what service is and this was far far lacking in anything even associated with the word. SO, MR SERVICE MANAGER, tell me, how does it feel if this was you??? MR SERVICE MANAGER -- you should have stopped accepting service appointments when your people fell behind (buts that's if you knew about it and were aware of the situation and actually cared), you should have informed them to be upfront with whoever was coming in for service about possible issues. Had things been handled this way - you would have taken care of your people and the customers. Let me finish with, the service that was performed on my car has never before taken more than 1 day. Where to start. So I called and made an appointment to have my oil changed that needed it. I also told the individual (Hope) that my Thermostat was acting acting act and even gave her the proper code diagnosis that I myself and NCB Offroad in Wake Forest NC had done. A few weeks back I took my truck to NCB to have all new Tires and Shocks put on my vehicle. I also had them do a complete check up such as ball joint, universal joint, brakes and so forth. They even called and said that they ran a diagnostic on my engine light and told me what it was (Free of Charge now) I thanked them and said, that I would get that fixed when I had my oil changed. Now back to WHITES. I showed up for my appointment and told them who I was and why I was there and what code that I had. I'm still not sure, how in translation, that I needed my NEW TIRES rotated that probably only had 500 miles on them since I had my front end alignment, Tires and Shocks put on, but the outcome was mesmerizing to say the least. I was told by the tech Raymond that I needed a ball joint on the passenger side, that I also needed brakes, I needed wipers replaced, I needed an engine air filter replaced and they ran a diagnosis on my truck that gave them the same CODE that I gave to them both days and they charged me $190 for that diagnosis. It takes me longer to pull out my scanner and attach it to find the code than it does to run the code diagnostic which is less than 10 minutes. But they charged me $190 for them to tell me exactly what I had told them. Now on the Tire rotation that I did not need, he put the front to the back and back to the front. He never my air pressure, because my vehicle is 5lbs different on the front than the back according to my door sticker from the manufacturer, so you would have thought since I was paying that the air pressure check would have been done. So when my truck was finished and Trudy gave me Whites printout for the total bill of $394 dollars I was floored. When I questioned about the unnecessaries with everything that I had mentioned, she just simply walked away. So yes, we was truly floored. I could tell more, but what's the point. They apparently needed that extra $235 dollars. Also the charge for a new thermostat would cost $936 dollars, $1207 for brakes and $600 for a Ball Joint. I won't call them any bad names, but I can say that I will never go back there again. read more

Can I give a zero? Unbelievable - took car in for an appointment ( had to wait 2 weeks to get one) for electrical issue and to get door lock fixed. The SERVICE Manager went out, looked at door, said what he felt was wrong and we said we needed that fixed. Now 3 working days later - they couldn't find electric issue ( it is intermittent) which we can understand BUT they didn't " know" to fix the door lock. We don't use dealer repair shop unless we have to ( our regular mechanic recommended the dealer for the electric issue) . I will drag my car to another dealer if needed before I use White again. read more

Jeff Scott and his team helped our family out tremendously! We were traveling from out of town, when our Chevy truck started to pull into another lane on I-95. We called the nearest dealership, and White Ford was able to call a tow truck company for us, and tow us to the White Ford dealership. We broke our front wheel hub, and they had multiple employees working on it, to get us back on the road again. They helped alleviate some of the stress, and by the time we made the phone call to them, and after having it towed, and the truck repaired, we were back on the road in 3 hours. If I could give zero stars, I would! I have never in my life had such a horrible experience. I took my vehicle to the dealership for service. I initially went in to get my check engine light checked and issue resolved. They contacted me after a full day diagnostic to inform me that I needed new spark plugs and a fuel injection treatment. The next day, they called and stated that "there are some loose wires (unknown wire name/type, never stated or confirmed) that they will repair "at no cost"". Weird cause we know they don't do anything for free. I had to call them around 4:30 for an update on my vehicle whereas the service lady stated that she was writing me a quote and there was ALOT that needed to be repaired. Long story short, I went to pick up my vehicle and my perfectly running SUV was shaking uncontrollably and would barely switch gears and pick up speed. The check engine light blinking and I barely made it home. I called the service rep Ashley immediately and asked her why my vehicle was no longer running properly, she stated that she did not know but she that she told me that I would need to get those things on the quote she gave me fixed($6000+ quote btw). She said that it could have started happening during the test drive. (A Lie) Frustrated and upset, I found a mechanic shop the very next morning who ensured me that he would get to the problem of what they had did, he found that "wires" had been played with as if someone tried to do something to fix them. He also was sure that my issue had NOTHING to do with any of those things they listed on that quote, but was with the fuel harness (which Ford obviously had been messing around with), he identified and fixed the problem, solved the check engine light, and had my vehicle driving perfectly in less than 24 hours and at a quarter of the cost that White Ford charged me to screw my vehicle up! I thought I was in the best hands by going directly to the dealership, but I was truly screwed over with no apology or accountability. They assumed I would be dumb enough and forced to come back to spend $6000 on issues that were not urgent. Leads me to believe they sabotaged my vehicle just for a repeat customer. When in reality, I was more than willing to return for all of my future service needs until then. I couldn't prove my case, so I just put it in God's hands and left it alone. I hope Ashley and the rest of the crew received whatever commission they needed from that horrible service they provided! read more

I called the nearest dealership and was greeted by Hailey, she was very helpful and assisted me with arranging a tow truck. When we arrived Hailey was attentive and kept us updated throughout the process of getting my car diagnosed. I appreciated that she called the next day to check in and make sure we made it home okay. Sent my 2004 Ford for evaluation after explaining twice would I thought issue to be (A/C compressor). Long story short, they diagnosed my truck with a locked up engine (after adding 4 quarts of synthetic-blend oil it didn't need). I then had the non-starting truck towed to my house and within 10 minutes had it running by taking off the serpentine belt. As I checked the pulley's on the front the A/C compressor was locked up. I ordered and installed the compressor myself, drained the excessive oil out of my engine and the truck runs as good as it ever has. There were other issues as well, but I will NEVER recommend White Motors nor take any vehicle to them again. Their service manager, Will, seems to know nothing about vehicles. This is the second truck they said the engine needed to be replaced in and neither needed it. This truck was fixed with a 150.00 part. In my opinion they may be misdiagnosing vehicles to sell new cars. If I had not had some mechanical ability, this truck (which should have a lot of life left in it) would have been sent to the scrap yard over a 150.00 part! One star is far too generous for their service department! read more

This dealership is the most unethical, unprofessional, rude, dishonest, shadiest of all dealerships I have ever been to in my entire life. They take advantage of elderly regarding false repairs. The service technician's are incompetent and careless. I was even told that it was normal for my engine light to still be on when I got my car back from the repair. They said "Oh that is normal for it to be on all the time by one of the mechanics. I guess they think elders are stupid as well. It took almost 2 months to get my car back from being repaired with a flywheel. My car had no power when I got it back other than the engine light still on. The staff hung up on me every time I called and said my name. I was not allowed to speak to the owner or anyone. My mother had only said the best things about her experience buying her car at White's and so when it was time for me to buy my own, I went to them first. As this was my first car buying experience, I was expecting a long day of paper pushing, but what I received was far from expected. Within a day of my expressing interest of buying a car, Berry called and started setting me up with a model I wanted with a price range I could afford. He set me up with a great payment plan and options like Gap insurance for my 2014 Chevy Spark. The next day, two representative drove all the way up to Washington DC with the car for a test drive. All the paperwork was there and I loved the car (still do). Absolutely painless car buying. I've never heard of such a concept. I'm telling all my NC and VA friends to go to White's! read more

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. I dropped it off with them at noon on Monday for service. They told me they would call me to let me know what is wrong but that I would have to leave it with them. It is now Thursday just before noon, THREE DAYS LATER, and not a word from them. Over the past three days I have called probably four times and each time they tell me they haven't even looked at it yet and will call me. Yesterday I was assured that the mechanic would look at it before they closed and I would get a phone call... still no word from them. I am going to get my truck today and it will never grace their sorry establishment again! One star is too generous for their service department!!! I brought my 2013 Explorer in about a month ago to get an oil change and I explained that my tires had been making a squeaking noise that stopped when I began braking. After waiting for two hours, I was told that I "had a lot of brake dust" and should wash my car more often. Today I decided to go to Capitol Ford in Rocky Mount for an oil change instead. They informed me that one of my brake pads was completely shot and the other was more than halfway gone. They also told me I need to get new rotors. The mechanic at Capitol explained to me immediately why the noise was happening, while the response I received from numerous people at White's was a puzzled look. Needless to say, I will never be allowing White's to "work" on my car again. Every person I have dealt with there is unprofessional and clearly not knowledgable. read more

By far the worst buying experience I have ever had! The posted price on the internet was NOT what was offered to me. BE CAREFUL to read the fine print in their internet add. It states they may adjust price for any reason - and by George they do! This is what used to be called bait and switch. The offer for my used vehicle was a joke. Over $7,000 below Kelly Blue Book for dealer trade and then they tried to tell me that this was standard. Maybe for this dealership, but not for any reputable dealer. If I could rate this dealership any lower, I would. In February, purchased a 2011 Jeep from them for over $25000 it only had 34,000 miles on it. The next day the roof was leaking. In March it needed a transmission overhaul. In April it needed an engine rebuild. In May it needed new spark plug wires. In June it need a new transmission cooler and cooler lines. In July it needed a new pressure switch solenoid. Today, it's back at a Jeep dealership after overheating and leaving me stranded on a 90+ degree day. White's won't return my calls, Steer clear of this dealership if you know what is good for you. They are unscrupulous and liars. read more

i have been a customer for many years and up to last week have been very satisfied. not only was i not satisfied, but disgusted by the products they wanted me to buy. couldn't fix the small leak in my tire and couldn't rotate my tires because some lock was missing. duh, whatever it is, they are the only ones who have ever used it because they rotate my tires. new management does not necessarily mean better service. previous service was much better. rethinking going elsewhere. read more
