I quickly stopped the car and called RR Honda dealership about 7 minutes from my location and spoke with Katrina. She was amazing - so kind and professional. I drove the car to the dealership and Katrina worked me in to have Chris run a complete test and quickly identified all 4 cylinders failed multiple tests. Katrina obtained the information and explained to me the cost and that parts would need to be ordered. She knew I was quite anxious about the situation, having to leave my vehicle; she and Anttwan promptly assisted in getting me home and a ride back to the dealership two days later. Where to start. So I called and made an appointment to have my oil changed that needed it. I also…read moretold the individual (Hope) that my Thermostat was acting acting act and even gave her the proper code diagnosis that I myself and NCB Offroad in Wake Forest NC had done. A few weeks back I took my truck to NCB to have all new Tires and Shocks put on my vehicle. I also had them do a complete check up such as ball joint, universal joint, brakes and so forth. They even called and said that they ran a diagnostic on my engine light and told me what it was (Free of Charge now) I thanked them and said, that I would get that fixed when I had my oil changed. Now back to WHITES. I showed up for my appointment and told them who I was and why I was there and what code that I had. I'm still not sure, how in translation, that I needed my NEW TIRES rotated that probably only had 500 miles on them since I had my front end alignment, Tires and Shocks put on, but the outcome was mesmerizing to say the least. I was told by the tech Raymond that I needed a ball joint on the passenger side, that I also needed brakes, I needed wipers replaced, I needed an engine air filter replaced and they ran a diagnosis on my truck that gave them the same CODE that I gave to them both days and they charged me $190 for that diagnosis. It takes me longer to pull out my scanner and attach it to find the code than it does to run the code diagnostic which is less than 10 minutes. But they charged me $190 for them to tell me exactly what I had told them. Now on the Tire rotation that I did not need, he put the front to the back and back to the front. He never my air pressure, because my vehicle is 5lbs different on the front than the back according to my door sticker from the manufacturer, so you would have thought since I was paying that the air pressure check would have been done. So when my truck was finished and Trudy gave me Whites printout for the total bill of $394 dollars I was floored. When I questioned about the unnecessaries with everything that I had mentioned, she just simply walked away. So yes, we was truly floored. I could tell more, but what's the point. They apparently needed that extra $235 dollars. Also the charge for a new thermostat would cost $936 dollars, $1207 for brakes and $600 for a Ball Joint. I won't call them any bad names, but I can say that I will never go back there again.
