She never hurries me or makes me feel like she doesn't want to see me. I like the fact that all tests are run in the building, so there is no running all over town for blood work, X Rays and such. Dr. O'Brien is also very positive. She accentuates the good things that I have done to improve my health. This makes me want to try even harder. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. I am so glad that a friend recommended her to me. She no longer takes new medicare patients. Another huge plus for me is that she is always on time. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes after my appointment time. The only negative aspect is that you have to pay for parking. This makes me feel like the Group is money hunger. Now, I'm a nurse and previously…read moreI was a paramedic so I have quite a bit of medical knowledge, and find myself extremely picky about providers. When I started seeing Dr. Solcher, I really liked that he took time to take a full history and physical. He really cares about his patients, and he did not dismiss any of my questions or concerns. Its true that Dr. Solcher did move to having a concierge run business. I joined the concierge group last year, and have not looked back since. Since then I am able to call Dr. Solcher at his private line whenever I have a question, need a script, or would like to run some quick labs. I honestly would not think twice about this because investing in your body is the best investment that you will ever have. The wait is short to see him, and he truly spends a good amount of time with you (45 minutes at my last visit). I think that healthcare is moving in this direction, and honestly I don't blame it because there is more 1 on 1 patient time. Dr. Solcher also has rights to admit his patients directly to the hospital, (this means bypassing long ER waits, and dealing with unwarranted out of network ER bills. If you are in the loop and looking for an internist, I couldn't recommend Dr. Solcher enough. If you aren't down for the concierge fee, he has a fabulous PA Hannah, whom I've seen before and my husband continues to see.
