Fast, friendly service and delicious beverages! We stopped by on our way to the park and would definitely stop again.

I love this place! I've been a few times, the time that stands out the most is when I went for my…read morebirthday. I asked my niece to reserve a restaurant that was locally and black owned. Unfortunately she dropped the ball, on the day of my birthday I sent a text to the reservation number to rent their room. When I explained how small my party was, they asked if I was sure I wanted to pay for the private room. I was like yes please! They made it happen, the private room was everything I could ask for! Last minute they made it happen! There are a few tvs which made my day, I had tons of birthday messages we were able to play on the tv, the food was absolutely delicious. We tried a little bit of everything. The chicken and waffles yummy, my favorite! We also tried the chicken wings, fish and a few other items. My ONLY complaint is the fried green tomatoes, they add shrimp to them. I'm allergic to shellfish, they don't price adjust them if you ask for them without shrimp. There should be a cheaper option without the shrimp. Besides that EVERYTHING we tried was top notch! Thank you for making my birthday delightful.

This food was good! Chicken was cooked perfectly and everything went well together. We wanted to…read moreinquire about the sauce they use and they actually sell by bottle sometimes! My group was disappointed to hear they did not have beignets and we inquired two days after as well and still none. They did have cakes on display but those did just taste like boxed cake mix and jarred frosting. Other than that the service was decent and the restaurant was a nice spot for lunch .

Really surprisingly good -- more Oklahomans should try this place. We had a whole bunch of small…read moreplates, which ranged from pretty good to excellent -- see photos. The standout were the mushrooms, which isn't a surprise for October. If you haven't had Native-themed high cuisine before, this is a great place to start. The menu isn't obsessively traditional, the way Owamni is; it's more modern dishes with American Indian flavors and ingredients. 39 is only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday, which means that it tends to be kinda quiet in the evenings when the museum is closed. You actually need to make a reservation, for dinner, so that they know how late diners will be there. Of course, you can go for lunch when the museum is open.

I had no idea when Joy and I were visiting the museum that this restaurant was even here. But, I'm glad we found it, becsuse it was amazing. The food was so fresh and well prepared. I had the Buffalo Cheeseburger with fries. Well seasoned. The fries were a little over salted, but had a winderful taste and crunch to the. I would have liked the burger to be medium to medium rare, but I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. Joy gad the Smoked Turkey Stuffed Acorn Squash which she said tasted really good. Not overly smoked and seasoned well. Our waitress was great. She had an easy job as we were the only ones there. But she was very informative about the ingredients and kept our glasses filled. The restaurant was very clean and quiet. Outside was an agricultural display showing plants of Native Americans. I would definitely go back and try dinner there. I also assume that the menu could change based on availability of ingredients. Might be fun to go back in the Winter and Spring to see what might change.
