Wow!!! Ron sets the bar for best experience ever with a contractor. We purchased a vacation home…read morein Sunriver and walked through it together with Ron, decribing our vision and leaning on his expertise. We love that he approaches his business as a partnership with the client, offering design, material and labor options. Ron always shares the pros/cons for an informed decision and is extremely communicative so we always knew how things were tracking. The vision was delivered, including some added scope, on the agreed timeline and price structure. So unreal! Here are some specifics on our project. We decided to replace all of the flooring, build a new kitchen island, create a focal fireplace facade and paint the entire interior. Ron knew we intended for this to be a short-term rental as well so every step along the way he made recommendations of materials that would accomplish the look we wanted to achieve and also provide the durability necessary for renters. We personally wanted to dedicate several weekends towards doing some of the improvements ourselves and Ron was amazing about embracing that and working through the schedule together. During those weekends I often found new projects that slightly expanded the scope, which Ron always accommodated. Since everything is a handshake with him, there was never a mess of change order agreements; he just adjusted his work plans and reflected the new work in the billing. Working with Ron from about 200 miles away felt like we were working with a next door neighbor. He has become our friend through this process and still holds a key to our home. In fact, we recently contacted him for a small outdoor project that he readily squeezed into his already busy schedule and we are so pleased to know that piece of our home is now up to code and build to withstand the Central Oregon elements. Bravo Ron!

Ron builds with detail and thought beyond your imagination. He worked on the job when we weren't there and treated our place like it was his own. I will definitely use him again. We feel so lucky to have found him.

If you are thinking of hiring Joseph for your remodel, you'd best do it soon, because he is going…read moreto be booked solid in the future. He just moved here from CALIF where he also had his own business, and it is clear from his work that he is a professional with a lot of experience. I moved to Jonesborough a year ago and have had a lot of heartburn with contractors of all sorts. Joseph was organized and professional from the get-go. He is the ONLY contractor who sent me his license and bonding information without me having to ask for it, and his itemized estimate was the most polished and explanatory that I have seen yet in this area. He also asked for an after-action report for feedback on his work. Who does that? I will definitely be hiring him again. He moved a door from one wall to another and closed off the pocket door opening. He matched the trim around the new door identically to the trim around the other doors- all hand-cut on site. Same with the baseboards, which were different in different rooms. He also patched a ceiling sag from water damage that was right up against custom kitchen cabinets. Two other contractors I had asked for an estimate told me that the cabinets would have to be torn out. Nope! Joseph fixed the sag, found a ceiling beam under the sag that had cracked and REPAIRED THAT TOO, and evened off the ceiling along the top of the cabinets perfectly. He even got that half-popcorn corrugated ceiling texture to match. What is more, he was very considerate of my time and of the house. He covered everything to prevent dust and dirt from migrating, enclosed my kitchen in a neat little tent (that I still had access to after hours so that I could cook) and cleaned up thoroughly after every day. I always knew when he would be here and he kept me abreast of any changes or questions. I actually learned a lot from him. He gave me free evaluations of the shower work that a tile company was doing in the house- to let me know the quality of the workmanship. He knows tile too, and was able to place the floor tile at the base of the new door to appropriately match the existing tile. Super quality work! What is more, he is trustworthy, and I felt comfortable giving him a house key so that he could come and go if I was not able to be there. The whole job was done in less time than we had projected and I am extremely happy with the results. He also hires great workers- Sterling is also highly skilled and meticulous, and Greyson is learning these skills as an apprentice. I'm ex-military and have pretty high standards. I also don't write reviews in general, unless someone is really good or really dangerous. Do-it-right lives up to its name- you can tell that it is Joseph's motto. He ensures that work is done to standard and in accordance with regulations. You won't be disappointed! 1 Dec 2023.

They not only completed our remodel they built the custom cherry fireplace mantle. We love our living room and it's exactly what we were looking for to update our home. Joseph and his crew are easy to work with, clean thoroughly and are professional in their behavior.

When we moved to TN and bought a house last year we knew we needed to make some changes to it. We…read morecontacted ReDo Homes and spoke with their very talented team of professionals and explained our vision of what needed to be done to make our house a home. During the process of the remodel and addition design they made some very helpful suggestions. As the construction progressed, their attention to detail made the project better than we had expected or even imagined. We believe we have the most beautiful glass block shower in all of East TN as just one of the many aspects of our remodel! We've done many remodels in our lives and ReDo Homes has been the most organized, trustworthy and definitely the most fair construction company we have ever dealt with. We have recommended this well run, family owned company to many family members, friends and neighbors.

We gave simple instructions along with pictures of what we wanted done only to walk in and see that the carpenter had built a totally different mantle explaining that he felt we would like what he built better. We pulled out the instructions and photos and had a discussion about what had to be done to make the job go any further After being assured that it would be possible to have everything we asked for he proceeded. This job should have taken about 3 weeks to finish and what started in early November ended in January. Granted we had to take a "time out" to wait for the stone. The "Extras" agreed upon to bring his extremely overpriced quote down a few dollars were never given, both fireplaces do not work and the stone has to be redone because within one hour of the contractor finishing the stone actually started to fall off the wall, we have hired another stone mason to come in and remove materials that would have emitted toxic gas and killed us if the wood stove was ever lit, the gas stove basically blows up when you TRY to light it and the CUSTOM WORK discussed came out of a Home Depot Box. Bottom line, everything that REDO Homes promises or tries to do HAS TO BE REDONE!!! I would have given no stars at all but for the owner being one of the nicest man on earth. This is what kept us praying every day that the job would improve. Unless this company can get skilled people to work for them we do not recommend any of their services,

HDR Floors and More

HDR Floors and More (Randy Littleton) came out and installed a floor in my grandmother's home that…read morehas crackled and felt hollow when walking on it ever since it was installed. Certain spots of the floor even go down when stepping on it. I have a Coretec inspector coming out to look at the install. However, I had them also to install baseboard throughout the house and to caulk it. They left several pieces of the baseboard sticking out from the wall and got caulk all over the freshly painted beadboard and walls in the house. Very messy and unprofessional job. They also left several brad nails sticking out from the baseboard and damaged some of the door jamb casings. The toilets were left leaking as well where they had to remove them for the floor and I had to fix them after the crew left. I have pictures to show all of the damage. I have tried to contact the owner numerous times before leaving a review. He finally responded after I put a review on Facebook but will not say anything other than he is "investigating my complaint". I don't know what there is to investigate since he and his other two crew members (his brother and son) are the ones who did the damage. He told me he was quote "A man of his word" before hiring him but has been ignoring me after bringing up these issues. On the final day of the job they were rushing to get the job done instead of coming back the next day. We paid them out of good faith before really inspecting the job. This is not professional work. He has now blocked me on Facebook for leaving a review. He is also not licensed through the State of Tennessee. He only has a county business license. My advice to anyone reading this, make sure you hire a contractor who is actually licensed through the state and is bonded. Stay far away from good ol boy contractors like this guy who gives you their "word". I more than likely will have to take legal action against this "business".
