It's a classic real ale pub with a firm live music policy, and although the seating is extremely modest, that doesn't stop folk from packing in here on a Wednesday or Friday night to sink a few pints and soak in the sounds. They have a good selection of ales on, I had the strongest one they had on tap the other week and if I recall it was only about £3, the rest were cheaper than that so pretty decent prices. They only have room for around 7 tables inside and they have a few benches outside for when the weather's nice.
