This concerned me greatly as I had wrongly assumed, with this being on offer to the public, that there would be considerably more safety protocols in place. Concerned and unwilling to risk it for a 1 minute thrill ride, I decided to cancel within less than 24 hours after booking - well within their at least 24 hours before event date cancellation policy for a full refund. (I had scheduled for June 2026). However, I could find no way to cancel using the ticket information/profile. Despite reaching out to them multiple times via email since February regarding the cancellation, to date I have received no response and they have not cancelled as requested. Forced to do a chargeback against them. Disappointing.

They made me feel so comfortable and safe the entire time, and honestly gave me the courage to actually enjoy it instead of being scared. And trust me, it is completely worth it. There are 5 ziplines and each one has such a beautiful, breathtaking view. I loved every second of it and I already know I will be doing this again. Highly recommend it to anyone, even if you are scared like me.

There is a 45 minute time limit to escape the room. Price is around $40/person. Rooms accommodate 2-6 people. No phones or cameras allowed in the rooms. Best to make a reservation online.

The rooms themselves are intense and hands-on...making you think outside the box, while testing your problem-solving skills (and your family dynamics haha). It has a stunning backdrop of trees and mountains and I love the fact that our kids loved playing in the park while they were young and now enjoy exploring the village themselves and grabbing a bite to eat before the concert. Kids can go on their own around age 8, so our youngest had to have an adult accompany him (yipee!). You can easily control your speed, so it was funny to see how fast or slow different people went. They did a good job of spacing out riders so you didn't bunch up. There is a timer to track your speed if you're competitive. I've been to adventure zones at several resorts in Lake Tahoe (Squaw Valley and Northstar) and this is far superior.

You start by waiting in line to purchase tickets to slide down. The is the first line, and depending on what time of day and how busy it is, I can take 20-minutes or so to purchase your tickets. Once you get your tickets, then you have to get in line to get a tube. So, it depends if someone sliding down has used up all their time, to determine if they'll return their tube back to the line. More on this below. Waiting the line to get a tube can take another 20-minutes or so. Once you get a tube, you can drag it up the hill to the line to slide down. At the base of the hill, their are attendants that write the time on your ticket. And, basically you have 60 minutes to slide once you've started. There's a conveyor that takes you up to the top and it actually goes kind of quickly once you've made it to that line. The sliding down is fun, and if you're with kids, they will love it. Now you know how it works, you'll have to decide if you want to endure the line, but it was kind of tolerable. Although I'd probably not do it again, now that I have. If you're not skiing, this is a good thing to do to experience the gondola ride up and the mountain. Also there's a tobogganing option in Olympic Park where they did the x-country skiing and stuff for the Winter Olympics. That is cheaper, less daring and about 20-minute drive from the Village.

Best to get there early to grab parking though we found plenty of spots at 11am. A short and easy hike through the Sea to Sky Trail, it is easy for all with no steep drops or climbs through a pretty canopied woods! The trail takes you to a beautiful and picturesque suspension bridge across the Cheakakmus river and ends at the Whistler Train Wreck where an accident pulled several cars off the tracks and they were pulled into the woods to quickly clear the trails - they have become curious pieces of art with graffiti artists adding to the designs over the years! Well worth a visit for this unusual art exhibit in the middle of the woods !

The trail itself is one of the prettiest and most rewarding hikes I have ever been on. But the crazy part of this trail is the location. Once a year there is a mountain bike festival called Crankworx that finishes its multi location festival in Whistler. This festival is the largest mountain bike festival in the world. During the Canadian Downhill race, all sorts of fans travel up this trail and stand along the fence next to what is called Hecklers Rock. I originally heard about this event as my friend and I were getting ready to leave the event and go home. As we spent most of our day walking around the resorts looking for saviors and getting stuck among the millions of tourists I felt that I hadn't really experienced Whistler the way I should have. I was hoping for something different than just walking through a town and dragged my feet as we headed back when I heard a massive cheer. We had just finished watching the Redbull Joyride and I thought that would have been the last event. As we approached an event employee I asked them what the chanting in the hills was all about. Then the employee was like "It's the Canadian Downhill!!!". Apparently, this is the locals event and complete chaos goes on when the tourists leave. At this point, I was determined that the chanting in the hills would be the experience that I was hoping fo find. So I asked the employee where the best place to watch the event was and they asked me if I wanted a technical view or just chaos. I don't know what it is, but when a Canadian or Australian ask me if I want chaos I get can't help but get all fired up and idiotic. So I asked what the chaos was all about. The employee explained that a bunch of Canadian, Australian, and Brittish men and women bring up a bunch of beverages and take their shirts off on the Hecklers Rock. We assumed that this was an exaggeration and headed up to see what it was all about. As we walked up we ran into some friendly Australlian's who had been working there on Visas. We shared some stories and then decided to walk up the trail with them. The trial was a very intense incline in elevation, so the view of Whistler got real pretty real quick. As we crossed some bike bridges and switchback we were walking along the downhill race. There were plenty of people ringing cowbells and yelling for their favorite racers as we walked by. Once we walked to the top of the rock my friend and I looked at each other and made sure we wanted to be around a bunch of crazy drunks when we were sober and went for it. We took our shirts off and sure enough, there was a massive crowd of obnoxious drunks. Normally this would annoy me, but they were foreign drunks, so it seemed more majestic than annoying. As we were watching the event we suddenly started to really crave a beer, but alas could not as we were supposed to be on the road. Even sober this was just a blast. There were older, younger, men and woman all standing around shirtless watching the race, and if anyone showed up with a shirt on, they got heckled and cussed at until they ran off or took off their shirt. If you are traveling to this location and have kids, you really should not bring them here or take the chair lift as people were getting pummeled with beer cans and there were ladies that flashed the crowd. I believe this event has been shut down since but might open back up if they can monitor it better. Overall it is the best location to watch the downhill or view Whistler from the peak.

It was super easy to get there using Apple Maps and there is free parking right under the bridge. I purchased my photos from the professional photographer after the fact and they offered discount if both my boyfriend & I purchased our photos. My boyfriend just took a video of me on my iPhone. I would for sure go here again & will recommend it to anyone I know going to Whistler!! It was a super quick drive from the mountain.
