In A Nut Shell Lousy customer service, a rude lady manager that asked her minions to ask me to leave as she would not press the issue with me as i asked for resolve to securing product either from store or to put in an order. Took the matter to the regional manager and was told he would order the item But it would take 2-4 weeks to arrive. I took my business online direct with another company and got 2 day shipping for free straight to house. This company was bought by another likely conglomerate. Too big and have lost sight of who pays their wage thru purchases. To bad because this was an awesome location for shopping, Not Anymore! They don't seem to value your time and money. read more

But, the selection was still really big I just needed a specific shoe in my size that they did not have. But the service was definitely five star. I made it a point to write a review for this place because I walked in not knowing what to do and walked out extremely happy! I had to get steel toe boots to support my customers in the factory at work and tried another store before this but didn't like their selection. Immediately upon entering Whistle Workwear I was greeted by a couple of staff members. When I got to the shoe section one of the employees asked if I needed help with anything and I told him what I was looking for. He quickly pointed out their color coded shoes (pink = steel toe) and which shoes were on sale. He helped me try on a pair and they fit me pretty well. I have to admit I am not so excited about wearing them when I usually wear cute flats or heels to work, but when I need them I'll have them from now on! Not only was that guy friendly and helpful, but so was the cashier who rang me up! He asked what I did and where I work and after asking for proof (company badge) he told me I'd get a discount! He then helped me out by itemizing the receipt and giving me a paper to help me get my reimbursement at work. Then he told me about their great return policy and walked around the counter to give me my bag. The service they gave was on par or better than what I've experienced at boutique stores or Nordstrom so I was very impressed. They were pretty busy too so they had a lot on their plate but they made the time to give each customer one-on-one attention and great service. Overall: Service - 5 Stars (friendly, helpful, attentive, above and beyond) Price - 5 Stars (reasonable, sale section, discount!) Parking - 5 stars (lots!) This place is located in a nice spot and has ample parking. The outside and inside of the store is kept very clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I was happy that I never have to stand around by myself long, because an employee has always approached me to ask if I need any help. Also currently they have a check in offer that's pretty great. At first I was a bit intimidated walking in-- I was looking for Carhartt women's pants and XtraTuf boots for fishing. Kara (I think her name was) was absolutely wonderful and made me feel warmly welcomed, and spent quite a while helping me find the right size boot with insoles and socks. Pretty great selection, although smaller sizes in the women's pants were lacking. I came in the next day with my guy for him to buy Carhartts and there were quite a few fits to choose from. Both Dennis and Russell immediately acknowledged us once we got to the shoe department, and were thoroughly helpful while my husband tried on different boots. Dennis noticed that my husbands boots he was wearing were scuffed up, and did a beautiful job oiling them. They looked almost new when he gave them back! The entire time they were helping us, they were both professional and courteous but with a touch of humor (which I always appreciate). I went into Whistle Workwear to purchase Safety work shoes, as it is an approved store to receive reimbursement from my employer per Union contract. I was greeted upon entering the establishment, yet as I was looking at the various shoes, never once did any sales staff or store associates even acknowledge my presents. Wow, I guess my money isn't Green enough for Whistle Workwear, I walked out after 10mins, empty handed and not so much as an acknowledgement ! After driving just down the Street, I patronaged a Red Wing Shoe outlet, not only was I acknowledged upon entering the establishment, but purchased a top grade pair of Safety shoes, with a Boeing Discount and a 30 day satisfaction guaranty. When I had previously purchased shoes for Whistle Workwear, they informed me that No Return Policy once I walked out the door ! WTF a pair of $150. shoes and they don't stand behind their products, Never going back there again, basically Shysters, Crooks, very unethical ! Went in today because a buddy of mine recommended this place instead of heading to my normal store cabelas to buy boots. I wish I could agree with the other review writers but I was treated extremely awkwardly and borderline felt they were looking at me because they thought I was going to steal something. I was some what greeted by someone working in the boot dept but again didn't really feel welcomed. I ended up staying for about 20 mins and on my way out I noticed a large selection of work pants across the store that I wanted to go check out but the woman at the cash register was glaring at me without saying a word. The selection is great and if I need something different than what is in the store one of the fabulous employees will order it and ship to my home for a minimal shipping fee. Recently an error was made with an order and after leaving a phone message I received a call and the remainder of my order was sent to me. That is great customer service. I went here today for the first time and found work pants...for women! With big pockets that you can actually fit things in and use! Made by Carhart so I know they'll last! My tiny lady brain could hardly handle the concept of work pants made for my body that are durable and usable for my outdoor job! I got chocked up! I would have never found this store but I did a Yelp search for "boots" and it came up so I gave it a shot. I found a good selection of work boots for women as well! I also found cute scrub pants for my other job as a massage therapist. You should really advertise more that you sell actual work clothing for women. Having just moved to the area from California, I realized really quickly that tennis shoes and a hoodie was not appropriate attire for the weather here. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by an employee, nice lady in her 40's or 50's, and I explained my situation. She was extremely helpful and showed me a couple options for jackets and footwear. I don't know if it's where I came here from, where people are generally not that friendly but the people at the Everett store were great! Prices are competitive, and rival many online stores. Great experience, even better prices. Came in to buy some work boots, right away I was asked if I needed any help, and politely said I was good. I usually go into a buy educated about the product, and don't normally need help from assistants. However, I was torn between a few pair of boots after looking around, and ended up talking to a guy in the department. He was more than helpful, very knowledgeable about the boots, and gave me honest opinions about the pros and cons of each boot. I felt like he was truly trying to help me, not make a sale. We bought two pair of boots here yesterday, and they are wonderful (a pair of $250 Thorogoods and a $140 pair of Muckboots for my husband). My husband was in a hurry yesterday because of the snowstorm, and upon arriving at home, realized that the Muck boots he bought were 1/2 size too small for him. Since we realized that the boots were too small, but also amazing, we decided that we would return to the store today to swap out the un-used first pair of boots and pick up a second pair of the same style boots for myself. However, upon arriving at the store today, the staff refused to allow my husband to return the boots, stating that it was because they had been worn outside (which they had not). Please see attached photos for the condition of the boots, which, bear in mind, we had for less than 24 hours and were never worn outside the house. So our grievance is the unreliable return policy. We spent over $530 total for footwear at Whistle Workwear and, disappointingly, we were not afforded the benefit of the doubt or good faith to return these perfectly new boots for ones that fit. Needless to say, if there is any chance you may have to return or swap the item you purchase, this purveyor is a dicey option at best. We will take our business elsewhere in the future. read more

I just wanted to write to let you know how nice of an experience me and my family had at your Everett location. First of all we were greeted with smiles right off the batt. The remodel was impressive and definitely makes the store feel way more inviting and less cluttered now. It was a really nice touch to find the coloring station to keep my kids happy and busy while I worked for a new set of boots. In fact every employee that my kids had an interaction with or question was smiling and answered them happily without any sort of annoyance (They got a kick out of the giants boot and the man hanging from the ceiling). What I was really impressed with was Austin. He came up to us all and greeted us nicely asking how he could help us. He offered to check my size to make sure he found me the best fit. For the past 10 years I thought I was a 13 and turned out I just had a really wide 11.5/12. Found a few pairs I liked and he more than happily went and got all of them without any sort of annoyance and gave me some educational facts about boots and fitment. He does like the big words but he explained the reasoning and facts behind them which surprised me that he definitely knew what he was talking about and not just reading the box. Meanwhile my girlfriend and kids sat around in the comfy chairs and the kids colored.(Awesome little station btw) Austin helped me find the pair I felt comfortable with I told him I was concerned about losing the comfortable feel since I wear thick socks. Without even hesitating he went and got me a pair to put on and try. Once we finished he even offered to take them up to the front for me while we got our kids ready to go. When we got to the front the nice lady at the counter(so sorry I forgot her name) realized the boots I was getting got me a free pair of socks and let me about it asking if I wanted them, hard to say no to free so I said yes of course. And got us all checked out in a fast and timely manner. So to Austin, thank you! You made our visit and my purchase very easy! Your store in Everett is doing everything right it seems! I went in on a Sunday afternoon to buy a specific kind of work boots for a new job. I wasn't greeted upon entry and spent at least 15 minutes standing befuddled by the women's shoe section (which is significantly smaller than the men's) waiting to be helped. Despite the store being empty, there were no employees in the front of the store. Eventually an employee comes out of the back room and says "someone is already helping you, right?". I replied no and gave the employee the specifications for the boots I need. He gave me a look that was somewhere in between puzzled and suprised (not really sure how to read it). He then pointed out ONE pair of boots and didn't say anything more. I asked if that was the only pair they had and he answered that they had one more (why wouldn't he tell me about both initially?) The conversation continued in the same fashion with the employee giving me as little information as possible and me pushing and fishing for more information. When I had decided on a pair he simply walked away without asking my shoe size so that I could try on shoes and make a purchase. I snapped pictures of the two brands and left the store feeling like my business was unwelcome (not a good feeling when you are trying to drop $280 on a pair of shoes). Definitely not going back to this location and probably not going to another Whistle again. read more
