It works! The menu is a bit limited, breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, but is diverse enough for most anyone to find something they'll like. I had a BLT on wheat bread and a bowl of her hardy corn chowder on the cool, rainy, damp, early August day that I was there. The bacon was thick sliced, cooked just right. The wheat bread was surprisingly not toasted, but didn't detract from my enjoyment of the sandwich. Four stars only because of the limited menu, but it's really great to have this place for a light lunch on my "Quabbin Loop", 72 mile ride around the reservoir. Perhaps the menu will expand a bit as Mimi's Café becomes better known through Yelp & word of mouth. There were several locals who clearly have discovered this little hidden gem already.
