I personally love working at Stone Lodge and believe this place has made some wonderful changes for the better. I encourage you (once covid-19 restrictions are removed) to stop by for a visit and try the food with your loved ones.

SHAMEFUL STONE LODGE…read more First the food and then, the bigger issue, security. Food is a major problem at Stone Lodge. Meals take forever to be served (a simple lunch can easily take 90 minutes or longer). Often the food is inedible -- pork chops that are so hard you cannot cut them with a knife). Edible food often arrives barely warm. Even hard boiled eggs are often overboiled with green yolks. There has been a succession of cooks -- I think the place just doesn't want to pay enough for good help. Now to security. In a new reckless, cost-cutting policiy, Stone Lodge will soon have NO ONE on premises supervising from 7PM to 7AM. A year ago Stone Lodge had TWO married couples living at the facility. About six months ago only one married couple. Now the owners of Stone Lodge have decided, in a heartless and callus move, to have NO ONE in charge living at the facility. Instead, Stone Lodge has given its residents pendants to wear -- if they fall or have a problem they are to press the button on the pendant. Stone Lodge thinks so much of this system they are in the process of REMOVING their emergency pull cords in all the rooms. Stone Lodge thinks so much of their new pendant system that they will leave the facility with no supervision for 12 out of every 24 hours. Please, vote with your wallet and DO NOT have your loved one stay at this facility. We will be moving our mother out of here soon. Stone Lodge cannot be trusted to safeguard its residents.

I do not live close by, so I am completely reliant on the staff to move all of his belongings, get his television hooked up and a ton of other things. My father is very happy being there and is adapting well. He likes the food and having his own studio room. I appreciate all the attention my father receives and I thank all of the staff involved with my father's care.

PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT take your loved ones here! It's so…read moreunfortunate because many many years ago (before they hired thieves) my nana was placed here and the ladies were so amazing to her. Now we are on the search for a place for my other nana and we absolutely know (where to avoid). We are local business owners who have been serving Central Oregon for over 30 years (over 60 years with all of the family businesses in Bend) and just dumbfounded at how they handled a thief that works for them! For starters you're working around elderly and a lot of "vulnerable" elderly who rely solely on those individuals that work there, to take care of them. It really is heartbreaking that they're so short staffed and "irritated" being short staffed and "over worked" that they could care less who their employees are, where the employees come from, or the actions of their employees. Sure, they have certain testing to get hired (I have an inside source) but after that, good riddance on keeping tabs or following up on reports that needed follow ups. After we had money stolen from an employee named "Bethany Teitsworth" we will make sure to let everyone in our beautiful, decently small town, aware of how Aspen Ridge runs and manages their staff, but most importantly their "patients" who are around them 24/7. I cannot even imagine what kind of money she has or would steal from innocent elderly and they would have NO idea!! What kind of treatment is happening here. We will not remain quiet over being stolen from and I will make sure I follow up on the report that is filed through the state to have Aspen Ridge checked out internally. Find another place for your loved ones.

I was there for what they claim to be, physical therapy and care, for just 12 days before my family filed complaints and threatened a lawsuit, and got me out of there...Thank God !! It was a nightmare ! Please never believe this place is what they claim ! I saw elderly people, treated horribly...it broke my heart to see. They, need to be shut down !! The shared bathroom was deplorable! The food was not edible. My roomie told them she's diabetic they served her mac and cheese, roll, yellow cake and Lasagna. The best part was medicine. I asked for my meds and stated that just being transferred from hospital i didn't recall when i last took my pain medicine ( opioids) she said oh im sure it was eons ago ill go get ya some. I said, well dont you know? she replied, no, guess i could call someone. it took her 33 min to bring in a portion of meds and said, i ll need to go try and track down the rest. roommate claims nurse said she couldn't give hers until 4 more hours, they skipped a whole dose. she claims the nurse kept hers. The nurses stood outside my door at 10:15 pm howling, carrying on about boys. i barely made it up and asked if they could carry on elsewhere. 3 am nurses came into room turned on lights and talked very loudly to roommate. Again, please night time voices. This should be by passed in your search, even if physical therapy is good or not. You will not rest or be nourished therefore, you will not heal.
