It came on a bed of rice which was flavorful, not overpowering and not over buttered (I hate greasy rice). This was perfect. It taste like a gourmet meal at an expensive restaurant. Our waitress, forgot her name, was a smiling, efficient, professional. I felt pampered; I really did! My guest had the steak and the smile on her face said it all. Honestly, if you are a salmon lover, try it. You won't be disappointed. Ambience? We were a bit early; about 5. Mostly an older crowd as is common for early dinner or traditional supper. The second time today, I ordered the same and it was correctly prepared without them. The salad from a few weeks ago had different cucumbers and lettuce. This time around, it was more of a basic romaine lettuce. I think it is supposed to have mixed greens and romaine lettuce. The cucumbers were not the baby ones this time and were simply cut in half and thinner. It was still good regardless. The collards would be better if cooked with some smokey meat and pepper vinegar. We had excellent service from start to finish. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating.
