Never board here!! They have nice facilities but it is not worth it!!! Full care horses get fed moldy grass hay from the facility. Then when other boarders find a full care horse that has colic symptoms, the staff was rude and mad. They were mad to be inconvenienced having to deal with a sick horse. They never took proper care of it either!! They deny problems and things never get fixed!

Training horses are not vaccinated. In May 2013 influenza went through the barn. I've heard from long time boarders that this occurs at least twice a year. Management denies problems, say horses are or were vaccinated, when its clearly not so. Many of the boarders horses got sick. They never isolated ill horses. They put them in the turnouts so the virus could be shed where other horses could be turned out. And so they could touch their snotty noses to other horses. They never properly cared for the sick horses and even rode them as they coughed up yellow mucus/goo.
I heard this facility used to be the nicest around and its gone way downhill due to horrible management. I've owned horses a very long time. I am appalled by some of what I saw happen there. I'm disgusted about some of the stories I heard from past and present boarders there. It's a shame such a nice place is so run down and horribly managed that most boarders leave since we cannot trust our horses safety and care.
Feeding problems occur frequently. Word is not passed along to workers. They all feed differently by what they know. Unless food is set out by the owners. Feeders put grain in the wrong tubs, forget to feed supplements, or just throw hay on the floor when there are hay racks.
Managers/owners are NOT knowledgeable. I would not trust anything they say and I would not listen to any advice they give. They have a mentality of "its ok," "don't bother us," "we will try to fix it" but they never do. Their motto is: "you can tell us what you think, but if you aren't happy, you can leave."
I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. There are several nice smaller barns in the area with a lot less problems. read more
