Our host recommended this restaurant on a quiet Sunday evening. The restaurant is open, light wood, and simply decorated. The menu is short and fairly basic, but they have a good variety of options including: soups, burgers, mac and cheese, game pie, salmon, chicken curry, steaks, and of course, fish and chips. There was also a veggie burger. The liquor menu, including, of course, whisky, is the opposite. It is pages long.
My friend and I split a steak and a side salad. The steak was nice, it came with onion rings, (sub for fries/chips) mash, mushrooms, and tomato. We also added garlic butter.
Great, friendly service. read more
