    Custom cake
    Barbi P.

Words cannot express how beautiful my birthday cake was. This was my first time ordering a custom cake from Whiskful Thinking and they did not disappoint. From the beginning Korey was so helpful and patient. I wasn't sure what flavored I wanted. She was very helpful and let me order her best sellers as cupcakes so I could choose my cake flavor. It was a very tough decision, but I chose the chocolate raspberry and then ordered their strawberry shortcake as an extra cake because it was so good. Both not only looked amazing, tasted fantastic that day. I didn't even want to cut into my custom one. Sad I didn't get a picture of the cake when it was cut down you could see the perfect layers. The custom cake was for 15, but could easily feed at least 25. Thank you for making such a beautiful cake and being so lovely to deal with me.

One of our favorite bakeries. Love getting their ding dongs- classic, Dubai, or s'mores. They have other playful theme desserts like cake pop- like push ups. Their cupcakes are delicious- moist. If you need a specialized cake for an occasion- must order early. They do have small cakes available on occasion

We were curious what's inside this bake shop so we decided to check it out. I bought the Dubai RingDings and ate it when I got home. It wasn't bad just a little expensive, this cost $7 but then they always priced any "Dubai" chocolate more than a regular chocolate. They have 1 table inside the bake shop. And plenty of parking outside.

This place has limited morning hours so it took awhile to get here! Eventually I was able to come here while in the neighborhood and its such a cute area. The ambiance is nice and bright with a clean interior. The croissant was $12 and it had a great flavor. It didnt seem very fresh, but it had a great crisp. The chocolate was good, but the pistachio interior was perfect. The dingdong was good and the cake was my favorite. I would've loved it if the chocolate was not all around and maybe just on top. Overall I would get the ding dong again, but not the croissant

Excellent service. The cake was soooooo adorable. A little on the sweet side but that's personal preference. Would totally order from them again for an event!

We tried several items. 1. Dubai chocolate croissant: A little pricey but the croissant had a lot of pistachio filling. Very delicious. I felt like the pink on the croissant is not necessary. 2. Dubai chocolate bar. This was spendy but soooo delectable!! 3. Chocolate ding dong: very yummy. Perfect sweetness. Not overly sweet. Cake was moist. 4. Smores ding dong: this had marshmallow in the middle. I think it could've used some cream in the middle. Cake was moist and chocolate shell was delicious. 5. Strawberry cupcake. Not overly sweet. Moist cake. Great strawberry flavor. Perfect in every way!! Whiskful Thinking will definitely be on my rotation for sweet goodies!!

We've been waiting for the comeback of the Dubai croissant! It was delicious the first time around, it seems that it's not as stuffed as it once was but the flavor is still there. The cosmic brownie was pretty good. The ring ding Dubai wasn't for my family. We all wanted to give it a try since it was an interesting twist to all things Dubai chocolate. Unfortunately we didn't like it, but I'd suggest trying it out for yourselves! Do be prepared that things are on the pricier side but that's because of all the work and ingredients that go into making everything!

Love that they have lunch box cakes ready for pick up. They have a huge variety of designs, and for only $15!! Perfect place to get personal sized birthday cakes for your friends, plus they have other sweet treats to indulge in!!

What a treat! I've been wanting to come here since I've been following them on IG. One of the few places that has Dubai chocolate pistachio pastries, cakes, and chocolates. I had the Dubai chocolate pistachio cake and carrot cake today. For my personal tastes, I don't like anything overly sweet. The Dubai Chocolate pistachio cake was okay. I'd make some changes to it to lessen the sugar overload a bit. Maybe use dark chocolate instead? The chocolate on top just added more to the sweetness of the cake. The cake was perfect. So moist and it went well with the pistachio creme and shredded filo. The carrot cake was not what I expected. It was good but different. It had more of an orange taste from the butter cream. I love how this was also moist but it needed more cinnamon and spice to it. It just tasted like yellow cake to me. Service was quick. Staff was friendly and helpful. Love the painting and decor inside. I'll keep you guys in mind if I need a cake order.

Finally! Got my bar of Dubai chocolate from Whiskful Thinking. Cute, punny name btw. The dark chocolate version did not disappoint. It's sweet, nutty, crispy and freshly made. Came refrigerator cold which was so nice. Service was fast and friendly so I was in and out with my yummy treat. Gotta love that. They're right next to Curry Leaf, one of my favorite Indian places.

Came here for the Dubai strawberry cup which they only have on Saturdays. It was tasty & was covered in chocolate sauce, pistachio cream (I think) and was topped with pistachios and kataifi. Also tried their s'mores ring ding -- has a thick marshmallow layer in the middle (yum!) and the cake was soft and moist. Will definitely be back to try out their other desserts. The cosmic brownie will be next

Purchased 3 dung dings 1 chocolate and 2 Dubai. They were good but wish they had choice for dark chocolate or milk chocolate.. We also got 3 push pops. They were tasty but kinda if awkward to eat . Great service.

    Dubai crunch cake

Ive gone several times and they one thing they always have is super tender cake. I usually prefer the cake slices over the cupcakes. The two slices that rocked my world was more of a spice nut cake that they won on a competition show and their raspberry and chocolate. I loved that they play with textures and make their curds nice and tart. I appreciate that they are always experimenting with flavors, and putting their stamp on trends. Whiskful thinking has been doing their own take on the viral dubai chocolate bar. I was hoping for their cake slice , but they alternate which variations they offer. However they had all the other reincanations of this trend. If you are unfamiliar with the dubai chocolate it basically is knafeh (shredded philo dough) and pistachio cream mixed together and enrobed in chocolate. Whiskful thinking started their twist by filling a croissant and then drizzling chocolate all over the top and chopped pistachios. They then made a crunch cake, which is pistachio cake, the knafe mix and a full on chocolate top as well as chopped postachios. They also have bon bons. I felt the bon bons would have been nicer if they were smaller and had a thinner shell. They read a little clunky for my taste. The croissant was my favorite out of the three as their croissants are very flaky and not doughy in the middle like other places can be. They also have other fun takes on pop culture items like ding dongs. I prefer their classic over their smores. I think the smores would be better if it were a marshmallow cream instead of a firm marshmallow. The shop remains on top of their social media and always post fun content. After a breakin they stopped accepting cash so keep that in mind before heading over. I always get friendly service when I enter. Its for sure a top bakery in the valley.

I missed out on their coffee though. I didn't realize til later that Gabi is Korean for coffee! Salmon brioche: This is a salmon toast. The salmon tasted very fresh and was lightly smoked. The ricotta cream cheese was light. Brioche was toasted perfectly to hold everything together. It was very good. Potato chowder: This was topped with bacon and shredded cheese. It was perfectly seasoned and not too salty like I've had elsewhere. As creamy as it was, it wasn't heavy. Ube cheesecake: This was delicious! Great ube flavor! The ube cheesecake was very smooth and creamy. There's a layer of ube cake on top of the cheesecake. So good! Butterfly latte: I paid extra for oat milk. What is butterfly anyway? It was pretty complex. It tasted like cotton candy and was slightly minty. I liked it. Yuzu omija: I think this was like a lemonade, or yuzumade. It was refreshing and also not overly sweet. I'm not usually a fan of yuzu, but this I can get behind.

Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. Every bite was a surprise. My 9-year-old found beans in one bite and then a big strawberry hidden in the middle. It was fun watching them discover it. Parking is easy and straightforward, and the café itself is absolutely adorable. If you have time, sit down and enjoy the experience.

I wish I'd bought four my last day in Vegas because Dad accidentally ate the one for Mom instead of his apple pastry ... and he said there wasn't any filling. Yes, there wasn't supposed to be filling in the crispy, flaky, cinnamon sugar dusted DKA! I first had Cronuts at Paris Baguette so I knew what I was about to experience back at the Grove in 2019. I ordered one here in Vegas and this month's flavor was coconut creme. Very light in flavor, same heaviness I've gotten used to from croissant donuts. They were also offering milk chocolate flavor this month that I wasn't aware of when ordering. I wanted to try the madeleines after gifting a friend the new IOTA hand cream made in partnership with DA himself. I ordered the lemon madeleines instead and was confused since they were coated in this earl grey white chocolate. The madeleine was drenched in maybe milk so it was so soft like tres leches with a lemon custard center. I went back the next day and ordered fresh, piped and baked to order mini madeleines-- twenty pieces for ~$12?! I should've bought at least two orders! And they smell just like the hand cream! So I went and bought myself the cream from ULTA to remember my DA Vegas breakfast runs while staying at Caesar's Palace. Also, my sister LOVES the pain au chocolat! She had it twice and probably should've bought more. It's pricey at $10 but worth the splurge. DKAs also run at $10 each. Get a nice four piece box as a gift for about $41. Oh! I forgot I bought three canelés. Ended up eating two of them. Opt for the bag instead of the box to save money. Custardy center with a chewy exterior, tastes a bit like slightly burnt brown sugar, in the best way possible. Finally tried the infamous chocolate chip cookie shot with steamed Madagascar vanilla milk! The cookie is warmed in their oven for ultimate melty chocolate-ness. I'm glad I shared this. Maybe I'll try the torched marshmallow ice cream bar one day. Staff is super sweet and friendly. Line goes by quickly. They have a few tables to sit at for a quick snack or breakfast.

I enjoy coming here for the food however the layout of the sitting is a bit cramped inside. When there's a line waiting to order and then a lot of ppl sitting down eating there's really no room to move around so it's a bit uncomfortable. Now for the food, I absolutely love their mochi beignets. It has a sprinkle of matcha powdered sugar and it's just so yummy! Best eaten warm and be warned, it gets messy with the powdered sugar. Second thing that I love are the fresh mango mochi, with or without the cream - they are both delish! I had also tried their butter squash soup (it's a seasonal item) and I also enjoyed it very much, it was rich and creamy and I wanted to drink a gallon of it. I like the concept of the egg sandos however it was difficult to eat and then became quite messy. So I'll pass on those in the future. I actually haven't tried their chocolate cake but my boyfriends manager loved it the first time I got it for her so I've gotten it a couple more times for her bcs she said it's the best cake she's ever had. Parking in this shopping center is crazy. I think a lot of ppl park across the street at the 99 Ranch Market and walk over. If you are dining in, they have outdoor seating as well. They do have a server but I believe there's only one so they are bringing out the food, grabbing stuff, cleaning off tables... but there's still some self service aspect as well so it might be more helpful if they either hire more servers or make it all self service and ppl go pick up their own food when it's ready. When I dined in, my mom and I had to wait quite a bit to flag the lady working to ask for boxes and stuff. All in all I enjoy this place and I like how they do seasonal items.

We first visited Moignet last year and really enjoyed it, especially the mango mochi with cream…read more The moignets themselves were good too, though not necessarily something that completely wowed me. We ended up coming back during our most recent trip because we were craving the mango mochi again, but this visit left me a little disappointed compared to our first experience. It felt like there was less cream this time, and the mangos were noticeably more sour than before. I personally think using Asian mangos would make a huge difference since they tend to be much sweeter and more flavorful. The shop itself is still cute and worth trying at least once, but I do hope the consistency improves because I know how good it can be!
