We looked this shop up online. We were really looking forward to their scones only to find out once we arrived that they no longer had scones. Major disappointment. Sandwich selection was good but limited. They also were out of the sandwich I wanted. Also Out of the tea I wanted. What I did end up getting was very good. Not sure how to rate this. read more

Word of mouth recommendations led me to this place, and I couldn't be more pleased. Gordon (owner) is a delight and the teas are wonderful. Name what you like and Gordon will find a match for you. Great loose leaf tea from a new small business. My favorite is the Masala Chai, it tastes like fall

Greetings all, I would like to start with introducing miself, I know the hubris. I am a Marine Corps Veteran, turned lover hippie. I have traveled all over and believe mi or not, I have had over 500 teas. If you know Tea this is not hard to achieve in life. That being said, I go in to the absolute peace of peace and tranquillity with little to no money to mi name, I tell the shop owner this, he replies, " that's not what it's about, have a look around, smell the teas." I am then heading into a journey of amazing tea smells, when I finally decide how can I not try to buy something. So I get a cold tea, I feel awful I can't remember what it is. He just said, "do you like spearmint." I said absolutely, and by the auroma coming from this tea not even made yet I would say it's going to be good. I was wrong, it was AMAZING! Mi taste buds were swimming in a caste ocean of love in a cup. I implore you, tea lovers or not, visit and support this amazing place, and to top it off he too is a Veteran who now fights for team love. Be so blessed read more

My sister and I went to the opening and came away with a fantastic collection of these unique, creatively crafted teas. We always prefer to support local businesses (Custom Cup for coffee!) and Springfield is lucky to now have Whimsey Tea! My favorite is the Bold Earl Grey, but Fairy Blossom comes in a close second. They also have a generous number of green and herbal teas - Pixie Magic is fascinating with butterfly pea flowers that turn the brew blue. Each tea comes with brewing instructions. Though this is not Lipton and so is more expensive than your grocery store boxes, the flavors, artfulness and love owners Gordon and Laura Davis put into it make it well worth the money. With Whimsey Tea, you don't just get a cuppa, you get an experience! read more

Great little spot for tea right downtown! So far I've tried cups of their masala chai and moonlight earl grey -- both of which were incredibly tasty and very flavorful! (Nothing is worse than watered down, flavorless tea. This is just the opposite!) The inside of the store is clean and pretty, and smells like warm spices. I will definitely be buying loose leaf tea from here in the future as well. Highly recommend! read more
