There are tons of vendors here - in front of Waterside they're easy to see but there are more inside and on the back area by the water so be sure to walk through the building (a few were set up inside in back by the doors) and onto the sidewalk outside where there were easily another 10-15 tents. There is a lot of vintage/flea market clothing but there are also vendors selling their crafts like wood cutting boards, stones and crystals, bags, soaps and candles, etc. We had a good time and everyone was very friendly.

I inherited an antique bed that belonged to my grandmother. It had beautifully carved posts with…read morepineapples at the top but it was only a 3/4 sized bed and just long enough for a person under 5'5" to sleep comfortably. I loved the posts but knew it was impractical to keep the bed due its size so imagine how happy I was to hear about Monticello Antiques. Irene and Dave were able to enlarge the bed so it can accommodate a queen mattress, which is what I wanted in the guest room. They worked with me to design the headboard so it would be taller and more updated than the original and Dave fixed the posts where additional carving was needed. It just turned out beautifully. I couldn't be more pleased. You cannot buy the craftsmanship of this bed in today's world. Thank you, Irene and Dave for the love and care you gave to my grandmother's bed. It is lovely!

The rooms seems to have some level or organization but there are a ton of different goodies throughout. Small rooms dot the store filled with Tiffany-style lamps, salt and pepper shakers, hats, silver trays, and other items. In the back there are a bunch of antique glasses (think drink ware) as well as a kitchen area and then a huge section with a wall full of pyrex glassware. I found some cute little rose salt and pepper shakers for $8 and the day we were there (a Saturday at noon) there were vendors set up out front displaying items and sales throughout. The lanes were so narrow it was difficult to walk and move around without almost tripping something. The gentleman at the front register gave a quick brief of all the discounts and sales. While exploring my daughter found a minted barbie doll. The price was merely $10. So we took the register. I got a hand written paper receipt for the purchase, a first of its kind in ages. I paid cash, but was surprised to they accepted credit cards and mobile payments as well.
