The minimalist sensibility was artistically designed which suited the party of artists and art patrons at my party quite well. Beautiful and quixotic college art museum. It's in the art school building so you can often see…read moreyoung or faculty artists working on something in the common areas inside and nearby outside. There are two or three galleries in the museum depending on how they set it up, so you can see it in 30 minutes or so but I spent a little over an hour my last time here because the two different exhibits were fascinating. There isn't an entry fee but they accept donations. A couple of student workers are at the entrance, friendly and interesting though I didn't engage for long since they were doing homework (I think). Parking isn't hard but you may need to walk about a block.

The docents are super knowledgeable and friendly, and the tickets are a steal at only $15 for a one year membership. The museum itself is small but beautifully planned - and the exhibits rotate rather frequently. I saw the "Made to Order" exhibit - a very fun look into what people are commissioning from local artists! Also, the gift shops have some great options as well as original artwork from some of the featured artists. I'm definitely looking forward to my next trip to this cute museum.
