This review is just for those looking to do laundry. This place does offer wash & fold service, but…read moreI have not taken advantage of that. I am always pressed for time so doing one load at a time at home is the pits. I come to the laundromat to get a lot done at niece and this place makes that possible. Semi-Large machines are a bit pricey ($4.75 per load) but they hold about 1 1/2 to 2 times a normal machine and are done in 21 mins. But don't fret this place has machines of all sizes - even one large enough for a average size person to crawl into. There are even a bunch of top loading machines for you old school types. Dryers are huge and not that expense. $.25 per 8 minutes and even my large loads of towel only need 40 mins to dry in these machines. So big I can often combine lights and whites in a single dryer to save money. I've been a few times and never had to wait for a machine, never had a machine breakdown on me, machines are clean and smell like they should and always plenty of quarters in the coin machine. 90 mins or less and I'm done with 4/5 loads of laundry. Great place and time saver for me.

This laundromat used to be one of the best ones in the Heights, but lately there seems to be a new…read moreissue every time I come in. The dryers aren't heating properly, and some of the washing machines don't get water until the cycle is damn near over. You end up having to add extra detergent and water from the sink just to get proper suds. When I brought these issues to the attendant's attention, instead of simply acknowledging the problem, I was met with an attitude and told that they "aren't mechanics" and that the water valve is slow. I never said you were a mechanic. I was informing you of an issue so that management could be made aware and, at the very least, a sign could be posted to let customers know there's a problem with certain machines. There's absolutely no reason to be rude to someone who is simply trying to make you aware of an issue. Customer service still matters. And then there are two giant signs that say NO PARKING, yet people are still allowed to park there. This makes it extremely difficult to bring your laundry through the front door, especially when you're carrying multiple bags or trying to load and unload your clothes. It also makes it difficult to access the designated parking area. This place really needs some attention. I hate to see a laundromat that used to be one of the best in the Heights go downhill because of poorly maintained equipment, confusing parking, and poor customer service. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and gets things fixed.

It's always dusty inside, the fake plants on the top of the walls are caked in a thick layer of dust. The top-loading machines are almost never working now, and lot of the front-loading machines are out of order too. Several of the dryers don't work either. I liked when I could pay just one quarter for 15 min of dry time because sometimes that was all i needed, now its 75c for 30ish min. Also, the vending machine for drinks doesn't work, the snack vending machine always gets food stuck and no one has the key for it so you're sol if that happens. The owner flat out refused to turn on the AC when it was over 90 degrees outside. The employee that works there is a total sweetheart though, she deserves better.

I would have given it a lower star rating if it wasn't for him. I only go here because it is better that the laundromat that is right up the street from me but if I had a car this would not be the place I would go and wash my clothes. I do like that you don't use coins to wash and you just add money to a card and so it helps you not have to haul around money especially in our day and age. I don't like their dryers they don't get that hot and you only get 10 minutes on the dryer. I have changed machines to find a good dryer and still was unable to dry my clothes it was frustrating. When I went to one of the other attendants and told her about how many times I had tried to dry my clothes she looked at me like so what do you want me to do...that was so rude! I had another incident where the attendant didn't know I was inside the laundromat and he and another customer were talking about me as he pulled my clothes out of the washing machine. I had a lot of clothes that day and since I don't drive I had to make a trip back to my house with the clothes that were dry and I thought I would make it back in time before the machine had stopped, but unfortunately I didn't but I saw another one of the machines had stopped so I began to take my clothes from the machine and I hear him say this doesn't make any sense the young lady just walked away and left all her clothes and these dryers belong to her to...I said yes they do and I'm right here you don't know what is going on with me and I would appreciate you stop talking about something you don't know about to a customer who doesn't know me...that was rude! I have had some good moments like when I received an ice cream sandwich from the attendant that opens up the laundromat. He is always so sweet and he is always talking about his wife...He is an older gentlemen but he is cool. I also like that they do keep it clean but I try and get there early so I don't have to worry about the crowd of other people trying to wash their clothes. They do have free dry(you get a certain amount based on the washing machine you use) but they need to fix those dryers so you don't use all your drys and your clothes aren't dry! I come here out of necessity not because it is great laundromat so I will be back!!! Enjoy!
