I order a pho The noodle was very average. No beef balls and no lemons. I don't think I will come back. I was looking forward for the pho

I started with the soft shell crab soft rolls which were full of flavour and packed with crab, vermicelli, herbs and spices with a nice chilli dip. For main course I had the spicy beef salad which was amazingly tasty. For the adventurous, a hot chilli sauce is served in the side which is fortunate as its brought straight from Dantes inferno. Handle with care.

We stayed in Wellington one night on the tail end of our two week trip and were looking for something a little different having already eaten through more hand pies and sausage rolls than one should admit to. We decided to go here for dinner and ordered the spring rolls and bun bo hue noodle soup. Both were amazing. The spring rolls were delicate and had delicious tender pork and flavorful shrimp balanced with fresh herbs of mint, chives, etc. the rice paper was nice and sticky indicating that the rolls were made fresh and hadn't been sitting in a fridge the whole day. The bun bo hue was absolutely delicious. Our server enthusiastically recommended we try this one since it is a little different and we are so glad we chose to go with her suggestion. We really loved the tender beef and flavorful soup. It was so special.

We got mojitos on happy hour and they were sweet but good! We got a beef and rice dish, and a chicken bun cha dish to split. I love that each dish comes with some pho broth - and theirs was good! The chicken skin was a bit chewy and soggy for me but the curried seasoning on it was nice. The beef was a bit tough but again, great seasoning. Service was very friendly, and you could tell they were busy and working really hard. Thank you!

I was walking along Riddiford street a really nice eclectic part of Wellington. Very multicultural…read moreand full of hustle and bustle of people coming a going. A little bit of an urban feel, a bit like London but the a street with the feel of the Australasian with the awnings for the shops that you don't even get in the southern United States. So to one end of the street next to a curry house and a pita pit and before the university on the right there is this gem of a pho restaurant. I went on a Friday around 6:30. It was packed. The latest table will fit 5 people in a squeeze but generally it's for 2 to 3 or 4 people. The menu is Vietnamese. Starters and mains. Pho is the main ( per the name!) but they also have bun which is a dry bowl of thin rice noodles with different toppings. Banh mi ( Vietnamese sandwiches) also on the menu as well as a variety of salads. A good "tight" menu meaning they specialise. The hidden gem in all of this ( in my humble opinion) is the crispy pork. That doesn't come as a main or a side dish but as a topping on the pho. This was out of this world and I agree with the servers view that it's probably the best crispy pork in Wellington. Apparently made in the restaurant. I ordered the spring rolls. I mistook them for the fresh ones but got these fresh beautiful fried pot rolls. I then ordered the mushroom and tofu pho with an extra topping of crispy pork. The soup was delicious and fresh. And the crispy pork great addition ( my first time in pho frankly) The spring rolls highly recommended ( see photo). The shop opened 3 months ago. Packed it seems pretty much most nights. Take out available no delivery except Uber eats. Go and enjoy!
