I'm a freak for Banh Mi, the Vietnamese/French street food. Its not quite nirvana here as they use soy sauce instead of Maggi sauce which is total cheating, but at lunch time, Nam restaurant opens its little side kitchen "Nam D" (apparently means "To go" in Vietnamese), and all the ingredients are hand made (it says that on the big chalk board anyway), but this guys knock it out of the park.
I've had it a few times, and the street sutff is invariably better than the arty farty stuff you get in "gourmet bakeries" etc, but this stuff was the right combo of both. It was really simple, and really nice. And for food, that's a great thing to say.
