We have booked three trips through John Oberacker at Eden, each time John has been able to provide significant value added but our last trip was most remarkable. In August 2014 my wife and I were scheduled to go to Kauai with our three children when Mother Nature threw us a curve ball. With Hawaii scheduled to be hit by two hurricanes within days of each other, we were quite concerned that we would be spending the week inside of our hotel room or, worse, in a shelter. At nearly the last minute we reached out to John to explore alternatives. Since John had the foresight to recommend travel insurance upon our original booking, we were informed by him that we did, in fact, have options and within a few hours we were presented with those options. John was able to map out trips ranging from Cabo to Turks and Caicos with points in between. We changed gears and went in an opposite direction (Palm Beach) form our original destination and booked the change only 24 hours prior to our scheduled departure. John handled all of the details of the new booking with the professionalism and courtesy that we've come to expect from him and, as a direct result, the trip was a fantastic success. Without John's hard work, I've no doubt that things would not have gone nearly as nicely as they did. I couldn't recommend John and Eden more highly, they truly are first rate!

FRAUD!! if i could, this business would receive absolutely ZERO stars. Kunthie Pich, dba Cambodia…read moreExpress, was arrested for fraud on 05/06/2011. My family had purchased airline tickets from LAX to Phnom Penh, Cambodia through this agency, and when we heard of the arrest, we called to confirm reservations with the airline. I was told that the airline did not receive payment for the seats listed on our itinerary! I went to the business to see what contact info was listed, but saw that there was a posting by the building management that the storefront was deemed abandoned due to non-payment of rent. Additional information was posted to contact the Long Beach Police Department to file a police report. Inside was completely vacated except for debris and trash strewn about the floor. So.. after leaving there, I found out my dad had bought calling cards from Cambodia Express. Tried them out to find that all nine cards had accounts that were suspended! It all started out with my sister emailing that company to ask them if we can book an earlier flight. We received an email back stating that they are so sorry but the business was shut down due to fraud and that the owner, Kunthie Pich was arrested. I was in disbelief, because we had purchased it since April. I called Korea air to confirm the tickets the lady who answered the phone stated that the tickets were cancelled and that money had already been refunded to the agency. I told her that we didnt receive the money she said that I would have to contact the agency. Sure enough the number that was given to us was cancelled. I finally called the Long Beach Police Department and left a message with the detective whos in charge of the case. Will we receive anything back from them??? I highly doubt it. This is the first time that its happened to us. What do we do from here???

When I travel on business, we're supposed to go through our corporate travel office which I always figured got the best rates for airfare and such. I don't like using them for personal travel, though, so I would always do that myself and search online and sign up for deal newsletters to help me. Recently I had a few personal trips I needed to take and I had been told about Idyllwild so I thought I'd give them a try. I will now never go back to booking myself! Joanna at Idyllwild was amazing in how she was so professional and thorough in making sure she knew exactly what I was looking for and what my budget was, and then coming through. Not only did she save me a lot of money but just as important, she saved me a lot of time! She got some amazing hotel rates and even called the airlines personally to negotiate the best rates and had all the details worked out so I didn't have to worry or even think! I believe the agency's main business is corporate travel or group trips so I'm sure they do an equally great job with that, but all I know is that the past few times they've booked me, I've been really impressed and would recommend Joanna and Idyllwild to anyone!.
