EHS is a Services Scam, "Bait & Switch" Fraud. Especially for business travel. They search the…read moreconferences database and find out which companies attend. Then they call the company to lure them into a cheaper hotel reservation posing as trade show representatives. In October 2013 a EHS Housing representative called my office falsely claiming that they represent a Conference in Spain where they have a new block of rooms at a cheaper price. I was led to believe that their reservation would replace the reservation I had made directly with the hotel 4 months earlier. Based on this false pretense and misrepresentation, I booked 2 rooms. Big mistake. The hotel confirmed that I had a double booking. EHS refused to cancel the reservation and refund the amount because it was outside the 30-day prepay window. With such unethical business practices, beware and stay away from this company.

Exhibitors Housing Services called our company claiming to be affiliated with the IECSC Las Vegas,…read morea convention we're attending in June. They offered us reasonable rates at the Westgate and said they only had 7 rooms left at this rate. We were also told that we could cancel the reservation up to two weeks prior to check-in and were sent an email confirming this, since the fine print on the reservation stated otherwise. I asked about resort fees and was told there weren't any, it was just a flat $89/night. After booking the reservation I contacted the IECSC to make sure they were affiliated with EHS. They said they are not. I then googled the company and found numerous complaints that this company is a scam. I contacted EHS to cancel the reservation and they said they could only cancel it for a 25% fee. I explained I was sent an email saying I could cancel the reservation up to two weeks prior to check-in and they said the email said "modify" and their definition of modify did not mean cancel, it meant change. When I called the resort they said they had a reservation in our name, but that it contained very limited information from a company called Travco, which is based out of Egypt. The hotel also said there are resort fees in addition to the $89/night rate, when I was specifically told by EHS there were no resort fees. I've had to dispute the charge through my credit card company, which is such a headache, all because this company blatantly lies on the phone.
