The blonde manager, has repeatedly been seen as rude to her workers. Another worker had yelled at a poor man, who simply asked to wash his hands. Not to mention the talk behind the scenes of how they are better than the people they are helping. Even heard him say "Trash like that doesn't deserve what we get", when he had a bag of candy out. There was even mention of someone being called the "Soup Kitchen Wh**e". Which is just repulsive. According to others, they call him this because he will get people things if they have relations with him. Another reason for the one star, there was a rather upsetting altercation of a man threatening one of the workers, I think they were a worker or volunteer. They didn't even take their own worker's side of it, when the man had visibly been in the wrong towards this gentleman. It was heard this worker was later trespassed as well, to me sounds as if they are trying to hide things and didn't want to deal with the worker. Perhaps even wanted him gone. One person had also come in, looking for the managers and she was as polite as I would think someone could be when you're being stared at like she was. The managers and the blonde worker seemed to be rather dismissive when she told them who she was. The blonde had said "Makes sense", all while looking amused. Later after she left, it was overheard, they were talking badly of this woman and even complained to someone that she was rude. Again, sounds like they do not like anyone who comes in and isn't trying to praise them. Seemed like the girl was nice and just needed something done with some papers, from what was seen. She smiled to everyone and even had a nice conversation with one of the serving girls, who was probably one of the nicest I have seen in there. Not to mention, reports of their food having mold and other discrepancies in this place. I do not find this place to be appealing in any way. An establishment that is meant to be helping those who are in dire need, should be a bit more welcoming and kind towards those who come to them for help. It's so disappointing to see places like this, go downhill so fast because of a few bad eggs who do not care about the mission of this place at all. This place from the outside seems very nice, but it is behind the scenes that should be closely looked at. It's sad and I hope one day it gets better, that people will speak up against these matters.

Great food, super clean, exceptional staff! This place is a must for great lunches. And, I found…read moreout they cater - call for pricing on the catering.
