It shouldn't take anything and the following Monday it should be fixed. Well, as we have learned, the owner's attitude is reflected in the company and its employees. Not only was there no part, no call ever came to fix the seat. We called him on December 28th. He was irritated because his family was celebrating Christmas that day. Excuse us for calling you for something that should have been fixed 6 months ago!! Despite his irritation he again promised the part was there and it would get fixed. Bet you will never guess what the result of that was lol. Who else has had this problem? I never complain but this is ridiculous and I know we can't be the first people that's had this experience with them.

They wrote us up for the couch and informed us the CHAIR wouldn't be available till August. We agreed to cross that bridge as we came to it. We were not informed that they either didn't have the couch in stock or it had to be ordered. Being that wasn't discussed we were lead to believe that it was available. Called today for pickup information and was told couch had to be ordered and wouldn't be available till April 15. We had told the salesman that we were getting rid of our current furniture and could live without the CHAIR till it came in. Once we got to the store we were told by cashier that the couch may be as long as 2 months to get it in. We asked for our cash deposit back and we're told they had no petty cash on hand. Cashier said to stop back Wednesday and they would have a corporate check. We told them we would never be back. They told us that their warehouse had a couch on Wednesday but it must have got sold. They tried to get us to buy something from the clearance furniture. We will never been back to this company.

Seriously, what am I supposed to do with an electric drill that doesn't include batteries? Nothing! That's what! I think they also sell furniture or whatever. I'm not saying it isn't worth going to, just temper your expectations. This isn't the Akron Restore we're talking about.

Holten came out and I explained what was going on with the basement bathroom. We walked around talking about different way to figure out what was causing the smell and he "I'm going to just walk around and check things out" within 1 minute he yelled out "found it". Under the sink in the bathroom and vent check valve was missing. The contractor plumber never installed it when the house was built 2 years ago. He said he could fix it right now and gave a very reasonable price. I said go ahead and within 30 minutes he had fixed a problem I had been dealing with for the last two years. He was very knowledgeable and even found a pipe that was not glued when he was installing the valve and fixed that as well I would highly recommend this business for their expertise and value for what they do. I added them in my phone as the first business to call for my plumbing needs.

For the most part, the store sells menswear, but if you're a discerning lady, you will find stuff here, too. You'll also find lots of accessories, jackets, posters and video games to play. They have a vintage Pac-Man console in the back! One of my children did not want to leave this store because he was having so much fun playing Pac-Man for free. There's also a really neat claw machine full of hats that you can play for a quarter, or free with purchase. Outdated Threads is located in downtown Wheeling, across from Centre Market. This is supposed to be a thrift/antique store, but it's filled with total junk. Lots of things seemed dirty, even for a thrift store. Things are haphazardly organized and thrown around without any logical sections. There was nothing good in here, in my opinion. And it's also located in a dead mall, so it's not exactly in an ideal location. I don't see this place lasting too long.

This place is fantastic with a lovely collection of high-quality handmade pottery which are made by artists in Wheeling. First, the studio and shop is only a 2 minute drive north of the main downtown area with nearby street parking available. Second, you'll see their inventory displayed as you enter the store and can ask about the different glazed colors on the pottery. Third, it's a little pricey but I think the high-quality of products made by local artisans is worth it. Fourth, you'll be supporting the local community with your purchase! Overall, it's worth a visit here in you're in town for a lunch stop during regular business hours on weekdays. I found Wheeling, WV to be full of historical gems (walk on the Suspension Bridge if you can and stop by the Heritage Port Park). Don't be fooled by first impressions - yes, it's easy to see that many dilapidated buildings need TLC. But there's also a positive sense of community in Wheeling.
