I live in Pittsburgh, PA, and I could not find any bathroom vanities and cabinets that I like in my city, so I searched online. The Menards website had cabinets that I liked, so my husband and I drove out to this store in West Virginia to see the cabinets in person. As I walked through the store, I felt happy with the selection of merchandise: appliances, bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, light fixtures, electrical and plumbing supplies, primers and paints, flooring, pet supplies, etcetera. I even saw beauty products and foods! Some brands are available at competing retailers, but other brands are not available elsewhere. I viewed the bathroom cabinets in person, and I really liked the quality, style, and price. I needed much time to decide my preferred species of wood and color of stain. An employee kindly showed me another cabinet in a sample color so I could try to make up my mind. I plan to soon special-order these bathroom cabinets through the website. Otherwise, I picked out a can of primer and several cat treats. The cashier accurately rang up my purchase and thanked me.

The Highlands is a shopping complex that opened a while ago but still looks new…read more As of 2024, this shopping complex includes about 30 retail stores, 26 restaurants, 7 hotels, 28 service businesses, 3 entertainment businesses, 3 vehicle dealerships, and 3 industrial businesses. The stores sell accessories, clothing, footwear, electronics, furniture, craft supplies, home decor, home-improvement products, pet supplies, video games, chocolates, etcetera. The stores are definitely not upscale (e.g., Best Buy, Cabela's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Menards, Old Navy, Target, and Walmart), but they sell what local people need. The restaurants serve cuisines such as burgers, fried chicken, pizzas, Mexican foods, Japanese foods, steaks, ice creams, etcetera. Most restaurants are chains (e.g., Bob Evans, Eat 'n Park, Fusion Steakhouse, Jimmy John's, Primanti Bros., and Texas Roadhouse), and all have a casual atmosphere. Service businesses provide healthcare, nail and hair styling, cell-phone plans, banking, etcetera. Entertainment includes a movie theater, simulated golf, and a sports complex. Over the past several years, I have visited this shopping center multiple times. It is conveniently located for people who live near Wheeling city, Eastern Ohio, or Southwestern Pennsylvania and for people who are traveling through the area.

The flooring and store people are wonderful and if I was only reviewing them they would get 5…read morestars, however, the installers are another story (and they are a 3rd party contracted by LL Flooring). While most of their work is fine they do not show up when they say they are going to and both the store and the workers lie about when they will be there. The first day, several men showed up and worked like gangbusters from 8:30 am until 7:30 pm. The second day only one worker showed up, but he did work all day, until about 5 pm. Today my husband has been sitting waiting since 8:30 am (the time the workers were supposed to get there). The first time he called he was told that they would be there by 1pm, it is now 2:30 pm and they have not yet showed. The last time he called them they said they were on their way from Brazil and I believe it with how long it is taking them! We have movers coming Saturday and at this rate the house will not be ready and we will have to take additional days off work and change the move in dates, which costs money all the way around.

We purchased an original piece of art for ourselves as a birth present when our son was born. We took the art to a local framing company and they wanted in excess of $900. We took it to Braun's when we were up visiting family and they charged half of that and it was an amazing experience. They took the time to understand the type of framing we wanted and made excellent suggestions. I wouldn't trust my framing to anyone else now that I've found Braun's.
