I ordered a flower spray for a dear friend's funeral off of Wheeling flower shop.net. There is a picture of their business when you pull it up online. I ordered an arrangement with a dozen pink roses in it in addition to other flowers. What was sent to the funeral home had no roses in it. I did not receive any phone call to say they are not what I saw online. That the arrangement would not contain roses. Even though I ordered direct on their website. They would be able to see what is on the website. Instead of advising me, they made a similar arrangement, but filled it up with baby's breath flowers instead of a dozen pink roses. I guess they figured I am in another state and would never know. I called to complain as they had already been delivered to the funeral. The owner said there was not going to be any compensation $ to me, that I should have called them instead of ordering them online from THEIR website, which they said is owned by another company and they are unable to remove. How would I know that? False advertising. If they know that is the case, why would you not call the customer and tell them? And, short them a dozen roses? Do not order from Wheeling Flower Shop. To say I an upset with this business would be understatement! Wheeling Flower Shop was tasked through Teleflora to do an arrangement for my mother who is in the Wheeling Hospital. What I purchased through Teleflora was a premium flower arrangement with 16 white roses (my mother's favorite) accented with lavender wax flowers. What my mother received can only be described as grocery store flowers crammed into a vase! There's a level of trust when one orders a floral arrangement through Teleflora or FTD, Wheeling Flower Shop violated that trust. Their service in this matter was disgusting to take advantage of an out-of-town order and they didn't think they would get caught. Fortunately for me, my brother took a photo of the flowers and texted it to me because he even knew I would not have sent a garbage arrangement like what my mother received. The value of the flowers delivered was a fifth of the what was paid through Teleflora. I ordered roses and my mother got was cut-rate flowers and it appears that Wheeling Flower Shop has done this scam numerous times to other out-of-town customers! This is a scam! I calculated from the cost of the flowers I ordered versus what was delivered, this business pocketed 75 PERCENT of the money paid. Maybe it's time for the Attorney General for West Virginia investigate this business for the highly illegal bait-and-switch practices they are engaging in! read more

Ordered an expensive (140 dollars) funeral arrangement. What was delivered was a bunch if greenery with 12 (twelve) sick looking carnations and one ribbon that looked like it came from someone's Goodwill donation of used christmas decorations. Guess they thought since we ordered from out of town that we wouldn't see what they sent. It was embarrassing and an insult to the family. I ordered item S5348 for my friend's funeral that was on Jan. 30, 2021. This item is supposed to be the FTD CIRCLE OF LOVE wreath priced at $219.99. After tax & whatnot, I paid $235.40. I asked the woman that took my order over the phone to send me a picture of the finished product, as I am in Texas and could not fly back for the funeral but wanted to send a nice display for his family. When I received the image of the finished product, to say I was shocked, would be the understatement of the century. Everything was wrong about the whole thing, but instead of getting upset, calling, yelling, I responded to the emailed image with what was changed & incorrect from the wreath I bought & how it could easily be fixed. I went one item at a time, said what was incorrect & how it can be corrected. I understand that it says if certain flowers aren't available, they will sub them out for like colored flowers, which is fine, but they CLEARLY have the needed flowers: 1-orange carnations, but pink roses are put in between that don't match, 2-the yellow section has white roses, just use all yellow roses or all yellow carnations. 3-the blue section has white roses, just use all blue carnations, it looks like polka dots 4-they clearly have purple roses but put dark purple, almost crimson carnations in the purple that just about match the red. Just use purple roses 5-there's not even SUPPOSED TO BE the whole WHITE section they just stuck in there between the yellow & the blue, that's where the GREEN is supposed to be. 6- there should be NO baby's breath, it adds white & it is supposed to be a fully colored wreath. 7- there was no bow on the advertised image, & the bow is just covering important color sections. There is a VERY IMPORTANT order & structure of the colors on a pride flag, as each section represents a different, individual entity within the community. My husband called and asked to speak to Howard whom we were informed, was the owner. He said he would get with the person who arranged it, Linda, have the adjustments made & send us a picture of it. Well, we received the picture... After all that I sent to them, trying to help & show them what didn't match the item I ordered & paid $235.40 for, the only thing they did was remove the tacky bow on top & use SPRAY PAINT to spray the white section "green". That's it. Not a single thing else. We promptly contacted Howard & stated that it was not at all the product that we ordered & paid for, and that we think it would just be best if we just received a refund. His response? "I will give you a refund but I still have to pay the employee the labor she put in to make it." PAY HER? You should FIRE her! She is not good at her job. Out of $235.40, they only refunded $128.40 He paid her $107 to "make" this monstrosity that I couldn't even SEND to my friend's FUNERAL?! Absolutely not. I will contact the BBB, FTD, and every possible review site available so that everyone can see the horrible business practices, the shoddy work, warn others out of town that their arrangements probably didn't get delivered as is because they KNOW we are out of town and will probably never see it, the money that they TAKE from customers & provide ZERO service for, which I believe there is a word for that, it's called theft. read more

The gentleman that answered my call asked what type of arrangement I would like and I gave him liberty to create as needed. I provided him with the price range and he took down all the information for completing the sympathy card. I couldn't have asked for a more kinder voice or exceptional service.
